has anyone seen the 12 year olds on games with mics and they think they are so good and then when you kill them they cuss you out, and if they kill you all they do is t-bag you untill they die and the process repeats it's self

I get the usual "OMG NOOB YOUR SOOO LUCKY!" or "SPONGY NOOB" (i have to admit on a fps iam quite "spongey" but as the game progresses and my abilty to shoot online avatars improve the more "spicy" insults start coming in in the form racial euphmesims, from the more popular racist insults to the more local ones.
I use it these days almost as a judgement of how well iam playing, standard insults = I could do better, racist comments = iam getting there, threats to come find me and kill me = My work here is done.

i just laugh. Seriously try it. Im english and on Xbox live i was getting stick about how awsome america is and how terrible we are (not jugding you america you just ahve a lot of annoying people). The guy said "no americans are fat" and i just loled for something on 5 mins. Wasnt that funny, but it seriously pissed him off. He left after that. just find something funny on another comp and lol till they leave. It works. Not to mention its funny.

And yeah, apparently a lot of things online are gay nowadays, weapons, tactics, etc. I see where people are coming from though, it's like these days you can't walk down the street without seeing 2 sniper rifles having ass sex.

That's actually a common misconception... most gay rifles only perform oral, not anal.

Personally, I have no idea why people are so sensitive to these types of people. Hell, sometimes they even manage to be really funny (word-fight between two 12 year olds on CoD5, it had me literally rolling on the floor laughing).

I know its been said a million times but honestly, I wish people on XBL would just stfu. I hate that I have to just mute everyone every time I want to play something online. Working together by being able to chat is genius! Why can't we as a community embrace it strategically? In not-Britain fag means homosexual. It is a shortening of ****** which is also used to mean homosexual (even though it's actual definition is "a bundle of sticks").

I dislike offensive idiots, but I'm more annoyed by bad gamertags.

The most insulting I usual get is "Don't be an idiot," although I'm fond of saying offbeat insults like plebeian (just to confuse 'em). Usually I just dismantle their poor attempts at insult.

I personally use nonsensical insults, with the intent of getting as many people mad as possible. Some favourites include:

"Your mum smells like a glass of milk."

"Your dad takes camping trips to Norwich"

"Yo momma so dumb she probably picked charmander even though statistically bulbasaur has no discernable weaknesses until the 7th gym, which would give you plenty of time to find another adequate firetype in the form of Arcanine or Ninetails."

Usually followed by "biatch."

Edit: Also, 'Noob' is a derogatory remark, used for no real purpose. It evolved from 'Newbie', which meant (and is still used to describe) a person new to a game or activity.
