Well if were talking definitionally, then it wouldn't be incest because the person is not blood related to you based on the things you said. This thing is not your sibling either, cousin, or in anyway technically related to you. So it couldn't be incest. If you were to "get it on" and the clone could have children you would have some crazy looking kid, like Marty from Apocalypse Lane.

The clone would be the ultimate in blood relations. As close as you can get without being a part of a set of identical twins (as then you would share a physical birth, and a lifetime together). You are right that it is not a sibling as in it is not your mothers child, but incest is not limited to sex between siblings. Sex with your clone would still be incest.

Dude i'm gonna have to agree with everyone else in this thread it's masturbation. Masturbation is when you "cough" pleasure "cough" yourself and technically they are you. Going along with the other guys theory of they think exactlly like you so if you wanna sleep with them the chances are they do to.

It's not yourself any more then an identical twin, provided you had one, would be yourself. Just because it was born of a tube, or whatever mad science does not negate the fact that it is a person. I don't see how a willingness to have sex with your clone matters either, as willingness to have sex with a clone of yourself does nothing to change the fact that it is not masturbation.

No you don't because you have a simple view that anything with an identical genetic code to you must therefore be you. As it seems many have. Should a clone be created of a full grown adult, and accelerated to match ages the clone would be readily distinguishable from the cloned person. A lifetime of incorrect posture, a poor diet, a tendency to obsess about exercise can have huge changes on the development of the human body. So a clone would be extremely similar, but not the same. Which only exacerbates the problem of believing it would be masturbation. Even if it was identical, say for example you stepped into a machine and out popped an identical copy of you down to every detail, you would still be two separate entities, share memories prior to it popping into existence or not. You can argue incest or not all day as there is an implied familial relation that would not be there as the clone would have no brothers or sisters, no mothers or fathers, buy you cannot argue for the act being masturbation, ever. There just is no way that it is masturbation. Trying to say otherwise it would be like saying two identical twins having sex is just masturbation.

I fail to see how this is complicated for people.

In my case I can see two likely outcomes, both sadly dependant on how attractive I find this female clone of me. On the one hand I really dont like myself so either my clone self wouldn't like me or she wouldn't like herself. If she didn't like me we wouldn't but if we both found eachother attractive we would because it would help with both of our self images. or would it, because we might become reliant on eachother for positive reinforcement which wouldn't be healthy.

I'd kill it.

Sure, it might possess a dirty imagination of equal grade to my own, as well as being a rather unselfish lover. But it would also possess the flawless methods of argumentation and discussion that I do, meaning that it would be impossible for me to win any debates, and also there's that issue with not being completely unique anymore.

Still it would be one vicious fighter if it has to fend for it's own life. It would use every dirty trick in the book and would probably start swinging a knife at me too. So it would be a challenge, but a necessary one.

There is a theory which applies to this actually- if your first thought upon seeing your clone is "kill it", so would it's initial thought. Your reaction time would be the same, your speed, your fighting style... every time you feint, your clone would know it was a feint, because that would be what they'd do in that situation. The fight ends when one of you has an extra bit of luck, which will be shortly followed by the other fighter getting the same luck, and you both crash to the floor in a pool of your own intestines.

It brings a new meaning to "If you know the enemy, and know yourself..."

While I don't think my self-esteem issues are too bad (I don't hate myself, but I'm sure as Optimus Prime not overly fond of myself either). The main reason I wouldn't want to is because I would just see all the faults in that person (as it would technically be me) rather than the good points, and if you can't see anything good in a "potential" girlfriend/lover/etc etc, then there isn't any point.
I think the constant agreeing would get annoying though, although an argument with myself would probably be annoying as well.

Also, I've been told that my sister looks like me with a blonde wig, so if I did get cloned as a woman, then my clone would probably look like my sister. Gross.
