It changes everyday. I'm told that I'm a big pessimist but I think I'm actually closer to optimistic.

I'd like to be an optimist but I lack the energy. I'm happy until one bad thing happens, then I can't help but brood.
While i voted pessimism, i don't subscribe to that mode of thought completely. I assume the worst, but there's more to it. It's like this: An optimist says the glass is half full. A pessimist says it's half empty. An engineer says that the glass is too large and makes a smaller one.

I'm an Pessimistic-Optimist... I think of the worst possible situations all the time, but I figure it'll all work out in the end!

I am an optimistic pessimist. I am all for hope for the best and prepare/expect the worst. I think it goes with my cynical sense of humor to. optimism isn't necessarily hope. I know I am going to win and succeed because I kick ass. However, there is always something horrible waiting around the next corner.

I am a paranoid pessimist, meaning I am constantly convinced that the worst possible outcome WILL happen. Honestly, it drives me truly insane, constantly being afraid that something bad is going to happen.

In the past year, I've convince myself that I've had brain cancer, testicular cancer, that I was going to kill me family's crabapple tree by poorly cutting off a dead branch, that I am constantly going to break/lose other people's stuff just by touching it, that no real college would ever accept me because of my past grades, etc...
