4/5 but only because I dont play Team Fortress. The value, fun, etc. is astounding - if I played TF it'd be 5/5

It has everything I need.

I still load it up every other day 2 years on, which is more then I can say for most games.

4/5. Team Fortress 2 and Portal are awesome, Half-Life 2 and its episodes are good but I can't help but think that TF2 and Portal would've gotten even bigger numbers as stand-alone games.

4/5

I'm not a fan of action games, even FPSs, but I do own this game and play it occasionally. The $20 pricetag makes this a must own game for everyone, no matter thier tastes or systems of choice.

I bought the whole special pre-order deal and got the hat, posters, and figurines.

Woooooo.. shiny baubles.

It puts on the hat and mats the posters, it does.

I wish I could give it a higher score if for no other reason than value of product versus cost. How may games have you shelled out $50-60 only think it was okay or just plain short. Then Orange box comes out and has so many different experiences and hours of fun especially considering that it is not an RPG which typically carry more time with them do to amount of grinding.

I gave it 3/5 for the package. Portal alone would be 5/5, but the rest are very meh in my book. The original HL was leaps and bounds beyond anything else when it was released, and I agree with the 9-10/10s it got. The marine AI was something I still remember as phenomenal.

HL 2 on the other hand, was a very unimpressive experience. Linear, and a lot of the gametime was spent by dying, quickloading and trying to optimize a route which involved less dying. The part with two stalkers and some bunkers in a park was horrible.

I feel like if it was released by someone other than valve, it would never received all the oohing and aahing it did.

But, not a total waste of money as I got to play Portal.

Half-Life 2: Amazing
Half-Life 2 Episode 1: ...Okay... I guess...
Half-Life 2 Episode 2: Good, but getting old.
Team Fortress 2: I thought it was alright, but it got boring incredibly quickly.
Portal: Absolutely perfect. The best game on the 360, AND the PS3 in my opinion.

In summary, keep your garbage on the PC.
That's the best thing you said in that post. It would be a better world if garbage like Gears of War, Fable and Resident Evil would be kept on console and "garbage" like Orange Box and Supreme Commander would be kept on the good ol'PC. At least I wouldn't have the fear of RUSE turning out to be a dumbed down RTS made for controllers and you wouldn't have the fear of Left 4 Dead being uncontrollable.

I said 4/5 because of Team Fortress 2, but let me explain before you come at me with torches and pitchforks calling me outside. I love Team Fortress 2, honestly. The classes are interesting, and it does something no other class based game does. It gives the characters personality. Anyway, my only complaint about Team Fortress 2 was that there was no way to play offline with bots, to get to know the levels or anything. Now that I've got some experience, it doesn't matter, but in the begining, there was no way for a nooby to warm up before getting online and completely humiliating myself. That's all.

Even if each game was a 1/5, theres 5 games so its a 5/5, but I like all the games so it's a 25/5.

Portal on it's own makes the Orange Box a 5/5.

The other two games are just the icing on the lie that is the cake.
Nice wording, bro.
i agree. I love Portal and need to get my own copy to play.
