4/5. One for each game I care for. TF2 never really caught my interest. I'm not much for gaming with others.

But everything else is spot-on fantastic. :) Portal gave me the best headache ever.

Nice job spoiling the game for those who don't have it, which probably what this topic should be about considering the game's been out for a year and a half. So those who do have it already know how awesome it is.

Pretty obvious the Orange Box is a sweet package. Three awesome games, one a hard-to-put-down multiplayer, one that's a sequel to the legendary HalfLife series, and one that's an innovative puzzle shooter with a cult following.

i thought the ending to half life two ep 2 was too hard, but the other two were manageable, and besides, the sheer replayability of team fortress 2 and portal makes this a 5/5. hell its been i think a year and a half, and im still playing the bloody thing. also tf2 needs to come out with some updates for the 360. The computer players have been living in dlc paradise while the unwashed masses of xbox owners have to play the same damn maps with the same damn weapons all this time.

It served as a nice introduction to the Half-Life series everyone was always raving on about. Portal was the most original and funny game I've played short of Psychonauts. And Team Fortress 2 is a great multiplayer experience.(If only they would release the 360 class updates already)
Overall its definitely a 5 out of 5

Yeah, the PS3 port is by EA, so most of your comments are null.

Did you really find Half-Life 2 to be that bad? The characters are fleshed out very well.
Yes, I really did. I spent almost every second running. Portal's big disappointment was that the portal gun wasn't in a better game...

...Made by a better company. Oh, Timesplitters 4 portal gun. That would be sweet. But no. It's in PORTAL.

It's 5 great games for the price of one. How could it be anything but a 5/5. Even if you don't like FPSs you still have to recognize the value in that!
I LIKE FPS games, which is why I don't like Valve's products. They tend to be rather dismal in the quality department.

Except I can't really comment on left 4 dead. Have yet to play it.
Dude, I don't know what FPS games you've played that are better than valve quality. I have played many other FPS games, and still come back to the orange box because it is fun and amazing.

Valve was having difficulty with Microsoft wanting to charge players for the game updates, plus they have to fit it into the disk memory size.

Many of you will agree that Orange Box is a must have game. It has 5 games including Half Life 2, Half Life 2 Episode 1, Half Life 2 Episode 2, Portal, and Team Fortress 2.
Most of these games taake about 4 to 5 hours to finish, but Team Fortress 2 for the online people, racks up a good 60 + Hours Easily.
Now, TF2 is a game where you have 9 classes, and teams for 4v4, to 16v16. Now, with that, there comes an achievment system. The one thing about it, is like most rants to get achievements, it takes forever to get an achievement. Example, Some can be easy, such as OMGWTFBBQ, which is killing enemies with a taunt as pyro. Some, can be as hard as, play 1 round without firing a shot, and finish the game on the top of the leader board. Very fun game.
Now, The Half life Series. Racks up a good 4 hours per game. very good storyline, and epic weapons that will not only blow your mind, It will blow the mind off of anything in your way. Weapons such as Crowbars, shotguns, and Grenades will make this game series make everybody love puzzles and Violence.
Portal, the 5th and last game on the orange box. Racks of 2 hours, and has great replayability with advanced levels making you pull your hair out. Now, It follows Chell making her way through puzzles with the Portal gun, or ASPHD, if you want. Now, the huge plot twist is, most people go insane through the test, and GLaDOS, the main agatonist, betrays you and ends with an epic showdown of poison, a fire pit, and a very big explosion, followed by a fall.

Honestly, I give this game 5/5, because of its replayability, and it is a great deal.
Half life 2 is more like 20 hours and episodes 1 and 2 are about 6-8 hours each. They're very long games.

Mostly games by Free Radical Design before they became their own company, and after.

5/5 Because even though the Half Life titles included in this package did not interest me what so ever, the other two TF2 and Portal kept me amused for hours on end, also the great value for money makes this game brilliant. Even though its old you should buy it people still play on TF2 and the flexibility of the classes is brilliant theres something for everyone.

5/5, Great value, great replayability, great Amounts of FUN from people who understand gaming isnt a second job, in fact valve, although not making lots of games, have made almost all of my favourite games EVER (Left4Dead, HF series, portal, TF2, CS...Left4dead...left4dead...LEFT FOUR FUCKING DEAD...RULES.... )

if you had to buy the game in the orange box seperateley, it would easily cost you over $200, whereas with the one box, its only quarter that.
