Poll: Overwatch Husbando Wars: Group A

After the success of the Waifu Thread, and after quite a bit of note concerning the lack of response to the other end of the spectrum, I decided to fix that! Because the way I ordered Overwatch too late means I might not be getting it until the 25th and I'm going through withdrawl, so I'm dragging the rest of you in with me!

If your Husbando isn't here, then he's in the other thread. Figured this is the best way to split up the choices and have relatively equal representation. So many men, so few picks... Admittedly I don't think I could do most of the choices here pure justice. I'm lucky that I split it up more or less evenly by going back and forth, because it luckily ends up in a way that I don't have to pick between either of my picks.

Reinhardt... I mean, what can I really say that needs to be said? He's got the Charisma to make everybody notice him when he makes his move, he always makes you feel safe to be around him, and he's just so big and strong...

I've said it once in the waifu thread, I'll say it again. Junkrat was made for me! His love for explosives makes him a cut above the rest. That charming, psychotic smile is just... He reminds me so much of the Joker. How can I not love him? We can burn the world together~

My second pick from this list would be Winston, definitely.

Going with Reaper, i would have voted for McCree but all my love for that guy kinda went down the drain when they added that stupid "BAMF" belt-buckle.

Bastion is clearly best husbando. People talk about Tracer's booty, but Bastions backside is machine tooled to perfection within a 0.00000001 millimeter tolerance. Hasbandos aren't born, they're built.

I don't really see what you're trying to call out here. They're right, Bastion doesn't have a confirmed gender. Admittedly I always refer to it as "he" (eg. Oh look, another Bastion Play of the Game because he takes sooo much skill), but Bastion is just a Bastion unit. Can't say he's a boy or girl any more than you could label a toaster a boy or a girl. As far as I know, at least.

But this is venturing towards the topic of gender identity which is a topic I am nowhere near eloquent enough for so ENOUGH ABOUT THAT, let's talk about how I think Junkrat's cute.
As far as favourite characters go, Reinhardt and Genji were the only guys I really played as in the beta, but look-wise I didn't think much of them. Clocked about a whopping 9 minutes of Junkrat though, so maybe that's the reason I like him more, I got to get a good look at him instead of just always seeing his hands and a grenade launcher. I can't even place what it is about him I like, and as a straight dude, it's not something I've put a lot of thought into. Is it the attitude? The perpetual smirk? Those abs?
Think I'd better go put some more thought into this. And maybe even think over my sexuality a little while I'm at it. Because seriously, I'm still thinking about those abs.

I am a big fan of the most allround kickass support in the game.

She can blast the unexpecting victim with her energy orb. Melt tanks with her beam. Build microwaves or make standing on point the most anonying thing in the world. She gives her entire team extra 25 hp (which matters more than you think) that regenerates! And on top of that her ult blows Mercy's ult straight out of the water. Why res 2 or 3 team members once, when you can shorten the respawn-to-battle time by 15 seconds for your entire team, SEVERAL TIMES?

Symmetra in all honesty, is the best character in the game that everyone thinks suck.

Also I can't help but imagine Zenyatta calling him out with different cyborg ninja names. Accompanied with a Buddha Sam Jackson voice. One moment its Ryu, one moment its Frank, another its Raiden, etc.

Reinhardt's jovial energy makes me love that guy. he seems like that swell, excitable and cuddly dude you just can't help but adore. Shame I suck at playing him...

To all Genji fans: what do you find in him? He's just a suit of armor...

It's probably the cold-exterior-passion-on-the-inside tsundere stuff.

He's a cyborg ninja. It's cool.
Plus, his young skin is alright, too.
He's not my favourite Overwatch dude, but he's got a pretty good look.

Also, I just really like his Aesthetic. He sticks out great and has a sweet robot buddha, thing going on which I just find infinitely entertaining.
