Whats up everyone i havnt seen a painball post in a while so i thought id make one. So, whats ur favorite type of paintball game? Feel free to add your favorite marker/gun you use. Personaly, im in LOVE with the RAP4 T68 Gen6 marker. Its the closest marker to the real M4 and theres so much you can do with it, oh it works like a charm btw ;)

I don't have my own paintball gun, I usually end up borrowing my friend's or renting. It's fun once in a while, but it's not my cup of tea

Woodsballing. It feels the most realistic to a real battle scenario, and just seems the most fun overall.

There's not really all that much paintballing in the UK, I believe, so you almost always end up hiring stuff, and paying a fortune for paintballs (unless you're accurate and not trigger-happy, in which case you spend 3-5 times less on paintballs than your friends).

And it's always scenario based, so I have no idea what the others are like.

EDIT: Apparently I mean woodsball. As I said, it's not all that big a thing in the UK...

I play woodsball every other weekend, east of Kansas City, Mo. I play with an Tippmann A5, as packaged except with a low-profile hopper. Nothing fancy, but dependable beyond belief. I have a Dye 3 olive mask. I do love me some paintball! Good times!

Winter's Bite.

Its where you go out int he dead cold of wwinter in the night, and when you're hit, you lay there till day. the wamer you dress, the warmer you stay, but hte easier and more noticable you are. area is over 5 square miles of wood, with plenty of caves, old buildings, and new structures to take refuge in. Just have to watch out for the animals that already live there.

When we're not feeling so adventurous, we play on the outskirts of the town beside ours, where there's plenty of hiding spots and ambushes. Plus a quarry (Of sorts).

Right now, I'm sporting my main weapon as the BT TM-15 and as a Side Arm <url=http://www.paintball-online.com/shop/Product/Kingman-Spyder-Paintball-Guns/Kingman-Training-Eraser-11mm-Paintball-Pistol-Green-GNKTPERG.aspx>Kingman Training Eraser 9mm

though my friend Ryan uses a <url=http://www.paintball-online.com/shop/Product/Kingman-Spyder-Paintball-Guns/Kingman-Training-Eraser-11mm-Paintball-Pistol-Green-GNKTPERG.aspx>CORE Tippmann 98 Custom and looks awesome as all hell using it.

I've only been in 2 scenario games, but honestly they were the most fun I've ever had paintballing. There's nothing like thinking grand strategy while there's over a hundred epople on the field and there's munitions whizzing over your head.

Scenario's the closest to actual combat, but I find all paintball relatively boring now that I've fired actual weapons.

I've never played paintball but I've always wanted to ever since I heard of it. First I need some gear and some friends willing to do it with me and then I'll jump into that world.

That sounds freaking brilliant. Next time I play paintball I'm going to try something like that.

Oh, and I am miffed at the absence of an "All of the above" option.

Airsoft for me. More authentic weaponry, and at least where I live the airsoft players are much more grown up and so on since you must be 18 years old to play it. It's always well organized and I really like avoiding those annoying kids that paintball seems to attract in my area. Primarily though, it's the authentic looking rifles that pulled me towards airsoft, I used to play paintball when I was younger, and then I used a Stryker MR1 I believe it was called.

As for type of game, I play MilSim (Military Simulation), not sure where that goes in any of those categories. Maybe you should make one for MilSim too? =)

I love paintball, too bad I rarely get to play it :/
I prefer Woodsball just because it is normally on a grander scale than speedball.

I've done a Black Hawk Down Scenario, but not with paintball, but with Air-soft... I played the role of <link=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randy_Shughart>Randy Shugart during the entire Operation. Shit was intense and incredibly fast paced to say the least.

I love Woodsball. It's just more real than using a bunch of inflatable structures. Gives it more of an intense (for me anyway) feel since there is so many random variables to account for. I don't have my own gun, although I'm looking at a Tippman 98 and probably to join some kind of group that does it

personally i grew out of paintball as it seemed like a lame representation of real war (just like airsoft). if you want to shoot people so badly, go into the military and get paid to shoot people (oh, also you might die).

when i played, i dug playing in what was nearly a forest. mostly because i could just walk away if i wanted to.
