Renegade, usually, as it seems much more fitting of a spectre bent on murdering ships of epic doom and apocalyptic epochs. Paragon runs always feel more satisfying for me, though.

I have yet to play ME2 but seeing as they are all pretty renegadish, themselves, the answer seems plain.

I was total goody-good Paragon first, but on my second playthrough I'm doing whatever the fuck I want. Often this means dealing with a split-personality disorder, but hey, you gave me dialogue choices and I'll take 'em.

Last time I checked, Cerberus was no longer a military organization and therefore I can wear whatever I want. Including that cool renegade hoodie from wal-mart.

I finished the game with the bar at about 100% paragon and 75% renegade (this was with the boosts given by talents though)

Needless to say I took the middle approach and did most if not all the interrupts, only one I didn't go for was the eclipse sun girl and stopping archangel during his loyalty mission.

In my mind Shep is canonically neutral, most of my games tend to be paragon though...

My first time though was as a Paragon, (except for the ending, how is it bad to save tech that might prevent galactic extermination?), but Renegade is much more fun.

My Shep is about half and half. I wanted to play her Renegade, but I was nice to Tali, Garrus, and Jacob, and now my Paragon is pretty high. It was hard to be a jerk during Tali's loyalty mission, and I thought you could recruit her earlier than you can, so I've been nice to her the whole game. But I've been a huge jerk to random people and in doing little quests to try to work the Renegade back up.

Mix between the 2. When for example a hostage is involved (think Mordis recruiting mission), I stay nice and calm to minimalise the risk of the hostage getting hurt. Or at that little side-quest which involved an alleged quarian pickpocket, I went for the Paragon option because I hate racists.

But when enemies are involved I can't negotiate with I don't bother with the chit-chat and just blow em up.

"I delete data like you on the way to real errors."

Renegade has the funniest conversation options, but I can't bear to play as full Renegade. I'm just not mean enough.

I do need to see what Shepard's Renegade choice is at

Tali's Trial

though. Only seen the Paragon option for that so far but by Haruhi did I feel badass afterwards.

Also, for all the awesome Renegade-ness:

Not my videos, but still awesome

Both, I do tend to go more paragon though. But punching that News reporter in the face was just too lulzy not to do.

Always paragon with a male character, Renegade with a female one. Except to my own squad, I'm always tight with my peoples.
