It depends. Some parties with a lot of (good) friends are very fun. Random parties usually suck hairy ass. I vote annoyance because most of the ones I've been to have sucked hairy ass.

When I was younger I wouldn't drink, and I'd play in bands, and later hang out at house parties and hope to god that no one burned the house down.

Now I drink, and I'm one of the potential inadvertent arsonists. Parties are oddly enough a lot more fun now.

Parties are fun, as long as the right people are there.

A small house party with a couple dozen good friends can be a wonderful evening.
Partying in the sense of going out clubbing, surrounded by hundreds of very drunk, very lecherous people does not turn out to be that fun, at least in my case.

I'm just the type of guy who prefers small intimate gatherings as opposed to large and noisy ones.

Partys are a heck of fun if you are with friends..but you can also have a great time with other people..you just have to be sociable and like the other people.
But most important you must know how to behave (dance, talk, drink, smoke, etc.)

Depeands how many people you know, and whether or not you like being drunk. If the answer is lots and yes, youll have fun. Otherwise,as likely. Personally I find them somewhat entertaining, even if I don't know or like the people, they will most likely being doing something retarded with which I can entertain myself by watching.

I love parties, i go to as many as i can, usually twice a week.. Get shitfaced and finding one night stands..

I love getting drunk and fucking around, it makes me happy..
Still no STD's, wich i find amazing all things considerd..
The bigger and crazier parties the better!!

I somewhat feel that i stick out in the crowd here on this subject.. But then again im Norwegian, drinking is what we do!
