Well... you should have an 'it depends' option.
Because I said so. And clearly I am the most important person in the world.

But seriously... it really does depend on the party. I've had a few 'tons of fun' parties and I've been to a party in my day that's been tons of lame.

I would like to be a social person but im just too shy and nervous around girls and people i dont know. so If theres any of them there (which there normally is) i feel really uncomfortable and out of place. this just makes everyone else feel weird and then i look weird.
I dont like them

I enjoy gatherings. Parties usually have too many people.
ditto but then again it maybe that i just have too many bad experiences with parties since every time i have one it seems the police come because a party crasher robs me or someone gets beaten up with a brick or stabbed or my house gets vandalized
Yeah, I've never had a party end up like that.

The meaning of paries where i live, is to get drunk and kill some brain cells, nothing else.
So parites are boring

its strange to say that you dont like parties,i mean its like saying you dont like games or alcohol, entirely possible but surely unlikely when you consider the massive variety.Raves, formal dances, informal dances, the ones with lemonade and silly hats, boozers, sleep overs etc.

Depends on a lot of factors-Who is throwing the party? How many people are going to be there? How long am I planning on staying? Stuff like that. Mostly though I really like parties.

The only 'parties' I ever held were LAN parties, and they were freaking sweet.
Nothing beat Homeworld over LAN with alliances and and backstabbing going on every two minutes.
Just awesome.

Ugh everyone always seems so sheltered on this site, and it is not unexpected at all, just saying that I don't fit in with it.

Normally, parties are very awesome. Having left school and experienced the pub/club scene for a few years, parties are now a rarity that is very much appreciated. Much more intimate and familiar than going out to a club. Much more opportunity of hilarity ensueing.

To those who don't like parties, make the most of them anyway, because once everyone is legal they become non-existant, and then you will be begging for that familiar social outlet instead of (as I assume some of you might) going and hanging out in the corner at some club to say you did something on the weekend.

A party is only as fun as you make it, if you're sat in the corner talking to no one, then you're not gonna have fun. If, however, you're in the middle of all the action, then parties are nearly always great fun.

Depends on what type of Party.

I enjoy house parties where its just banter and getting drunk. I also enjoy dancing.

I also enjoy parties where its me and 6 friends taking turns on the Wii/360. Beers are optional on those nights. It depends on what sort of mood I'm in.

Some are good, some are bad, and others are just ugly. Anyway, I like parties, like I said though it depends on the party. Ideally I'd like to be there with my mates.

Fun or not fun?

Me?

Not really. They get boring really quickly for me.
You should really add a "it depends on the party" option, because that's really the way it is for me.

Depending on the party, I can have a really great time, or it can just be an awkward waste of time.

Frat parties, especially, I've have a hard time getting comfortable with a bunch of testosterone fueled drunkards running around complicating things.
