Poll: Peeing in the shower.

I've been thinking about this recently, thought I'd get some Escapists' opinions on it. Is it okay to pee in the shower? Do you pee in the shower? Would you consider peeing in the shower? And what do you think of those who do...?

I'm totally okay with it, but man, I'd hate to live with someone whose personal hygiene is so strict that they'd hate to find out that I do. What about you, Escapists? Is peeing in the shower okay? Or is it totally gross?

Considering that's the only part of any house which features a drain in the floor and running water, I see no problem with peeing in the shower. I do it all the time! Well not all the time, I don't always have to ya know? I don't care that people do it but I swear guys...don't open the bog-gate in the shower...we don't want no logs in the waking pool.

I use to when I was littler, then a thought occurred to me. In an emergency, the first thing you should do is fill your tub with water, you never know when the water will be cut so having a tub full could save your life.
But if you've been peeing in it every single day do you REALLY feel comfortable drinking from it?

I use to when I was littler, then a thought occurred to me. In an emergency, the first thing you should do is fill your tub with water, you never know when the water will be cut so having a tub full could save your life.
But if you've been peeing in it every single day do you REALLY feel comfortable drinking from it?

I have a separate bathtub and shower so I can both pee and avoid disaster!!

Meh, when you're hung over as fuck or just not inclined to give a shit, I see no issue with it. Plus someone told me that in prisons some folks pee on their feet to get rid of tinea and stuff like that. I have no idea of its truthfulness or effectiveness, but there you go.

Addendum: this is only appropriate when you shower ALONE, when sharing with a partner its a pretty big faux pas unless they're into that.

No, because then I get anxious that it doesn't wash away properly. So, if I need to take a piss in the shower (rarely, since I always do it beforehand), I'll just quickly dry myself off, slip into my slippers, and piss in the actual toilet.

Eh, most of the times I pee before getting in the shower, don't see why I'd hold it in until then. Gets too uncomfortable.

Whatever floats your boat, it's mostly water and nitrate anyways. Just don't get it all across the wall and I'm fine. No one wants pee stains all over their bathtub/shower.

I'm appalled at how most of you seem to think this is acceptable.

If you live alone then I guess you are free to be as gross as you want in your shower.. but if you share that shower with anyone else, peeing in it is absolutely disgusting and inexcusable.
