It's hard, this choice. Clicky tops are addictive but fountain pens are beautiful.

I fuckin' love fountain pens. Pity I keep spilling ink everywhere when I have to change an ink cartridge.

gel pen. so much easier to write with, plus i can draw with it quite well if i get bored.

mind you, these days i use pencil for writing. i'm not sure why, but it far improves my handwriting.

so i use pens for drawing, and pencils for writing.

Click it in a fancy rythm, I'd say.

Though I don't care much... As long as I can make an annoying sound with it, I'm happy.

My favorite type of pen is a pen that writes.

But I must agree fountain pens are very very classy ?

Fountain pens

I have an odd way of writing things that a fountain pen seems to favour.

Clicky tops here. I prefer G2's because they just write so smooth. Plus I like looking at the letters as I write them, oh how they shine so..

Clicky. :3 Though, a pen is a pen...but if given the choice, I'll take clicky. They seem to write better in my experiences.

Twist bottom

Currently I have an average sized steel pen that twists at the bottom, and it switches between red ink, black ink, and a mechanical pencil. It's great. And it spins really well between your fingers as well as on any other surface.

"Damn twisty bottoms, we need more clicky tops."

I like clicky tops when they are very skinny and sharp, no ball points.

It really depends on what I'm doing with it.

If it's for writing a check/legal document: Ballpoint

If it's for artwork: Nib Pen

If it's for taking notes: Pencil

If it's for writing an essay: Mechanical Pencil

Twisty ones. My favourite pen is a twisty one. I can't remember when/where I got it, but it writes like a dream.
I'm not that fussy with pens, but they must have black ink, I can't stand blue ones. But if I have my favourite pen with me, I'll use that one.
