The clicky top kind. Not only does it work better than the twisting pens (the one I have always twists back up when I write) or the capped ones (I'm always losing the cap) but its also fun to click the button.

Clicky. I can't loose the top, and they usually come with a little grip by the end that I can chew on.

Om nom nom.

Every time i look at the title i keep seeing poll: penis XD damn you to hell
I thought I way the only one who was seeing that.

My favorite pens are rollerball pens(special kind of pen, has a cap). They are easy to use, and there usually reusable.

My second favorite is a fountain pen. They look so sweet.

Usually though, I use pencils cause the only time I write is for school, and they perfer pencil writing over pen, so you can erase.

I can't use it unless it's a biro. If it's an ink-pen I smudge it. Damn my left-handedness.
I'm a lefty and I only use pens. See, you just need to find the right brand, not an inky pen.

But clicky pens for me please. They just seem more durable than twisties, and easier to maintain than pen cap pens.

Capped. They just write so much smoother, and you get a pen cap to stick between your teeth in lieu of one's pipe. Even if there's no tobacco in your pipe, people don't like seeing it out inside. After capped comes clicky tops. *clickclickclick*

You how I know I'm a nerd? Because I have a favorite type of pen. The G2, it practically bleeds inc onto the page and is ideal for quick note taking or quick drawing. Coincidentally it has a clickey top.

Ooh clickety tops!

Actually those are my favourite sharpies. For pens, it doesn't really matter. As long as it works.

Like what everyone else is saying, a pen is truly a pen.

But, I need some type of fixation to get me through classes,
so the clicky pens are just perfect for me to survive.

I prefer fountain pens, but I write so much that I either go through ink at an incredible rate, or just give in and buy a whole load of capped rollerballs. I hate biros, and I find clicky pens annoying, especially if they break.

I'm a lefty too and had the same problem, blue ink would help as it doesn't smudge. I agree though aboiut finding the right one, fineliners (while being great pens) I find don't smudge.
