$2500 a month.

With this I'd eventually get more than $1million.
I'd be able to pay someone so I won't age for 10 years.
I'd be able to buy a trip round the galaxy.
I'd be able to buy enough caffeine so I'd never need to sleep.

Err, $2500 every month is NOT alot of money. I make about that much, and with rent, car payments, car insurance, bills, food, and entertainment, I'm constantly broke or nearly.

I chose to never sleep, I almost picked the galaxy trip, but there could be a catch. Like how you would do it and how much time it would take.

I didn't choose the money because getting what you haven't earned isn't good for you. Stuff like that corrupts people and makes 'em do things that would even surprise them.

So, I chose that I would never need to sleep.
Hey, taking the money would really make going to college easier. Tuition, book, room, board, and food money being taken care of would help me out so much.
Never getting tired would essentially make you a super-being though.

£2500 a month, every month.

Reason why: It would build up over time, especially if I kept on working as well.

A trip around the galaxy obviously. On the condition I don't die of old age.
But I'd probably shoot you and take all of you enhancers. GOOD DAY SAAAAH!!!

Not needing to sleep sounds fun, but do I still have the option to sleep if I want to? I like sleeping.

"you will never need to sleep"

If I never need to sleep I can achieve nearly everything else in the list. Not aging for 10 years as well because I consiously live twice as long. Only thing I couldn't do was taking a trip around the universe, but I'm not too interested in that anyway.

Was going to go for the $2500 each month, but the million dollars is more practical right now. Pay off my bills. Pay off my parent's bills. Set my sons up for a long while. And then take a trip with my fiance somewhere where no one will ever find us.

I'd take the $1 million.

I'm aware that in the long term, the monthly income would be more fruitful, but the future is uncertain, so I'd rather have a lot of money instantly, rather than more money but in relatively much smaller installments. This goes for whether or not this is in my native currency, the British pound, or still in the dollar.

As for the other options, I'm only 19, so ageing 10 years is absolutely no problem for me; I look forwards to it.

Not needing sleep would lead to my eventual insanity; I need a period in which I can just shut down in order to process everything and then reboot nice and fresh (that made me sounds much more like a robot than a person...).

A trip round the galaxy would ultimately bore me, it would be a lot of empty, lifeless planets.

Finally, the free ride option is just so inferior to the others; despite how much transportation will cost me throughout my life, I still stand by my argument for the $1 million in that I don't know how long I'm going to live, so the instant very large cash sum is a much safer bet than aiming to live 'til I'm 90 so that I've raised a million dollars worth of bus tickets.

Million bucks. If used wisely, it'll be infinitely more useful than the $2500/mo option.

Not sleeping is nice, but I'd eventually go insane from always being "on", so to speak.

I like the way you think.

Reading the last few posts, I obviously need to say this again:

Whether you're thinking long term or short, $1,000,000 right now is better than $2,500 a month.

Probably the monthly money, because I'm fairly certain I could get by w/o working on $2,500 a month if I spent it right. Though the not sleeping option is damn tempting.

You will never need to sleep-- Defies the laws of nature. We need sleep to regain energy. To never need sleep, you'd have to somehow provide your own energy. Could result in a mutation to make this choice occur.
What if you could just instead gain that energy through eating more (fuel)?

Free rides everywhere? Hell yes thank you very much. No need for a car, go to another continent on a whim, be able to give the most awesome dates everywhere (think about it. does taking someone to paris for a first date leave an impression? you bet your ass it does).
