$You will never need to sleep-- Defies the laws of nature. We need sleep to regain energy. To never need sleep, you'd have to somehow provide your own energy. Could result in a mutation to make this choice occur.
We don't sleep to gain energy, we eat food for that purpose.
Sleep, although it feels like it's to do with energy, is actually to enact maintenance on the brain.
Oh? That makes sense... but wouldn't that also be considered regaining energy? I mean, we get tired because we lack in energy, right? (Excuse me if I'm being way wrong, I'm just going by my own logic, I'm not really looking into it.)
No, we get tired because our brain is due for a period of maintenance. It merely feels like a lack of energy. Essentially all our energy is gained through eating.
Ah, thanks. Either way, we still need to sleep.
Yes, but it's possible for a being to exist that doesn't sleep without violating and physical/"natural" laws.

A being, yes, (i.e. fish) but I'd imagine it would be hard for a human being.

So are most of the other options on the list.

Not having to sleep would be cool. But i love dreaming. Also i would just waste my time, like i waste all other time too. 2.500 per month is awesome, but the million up front (which i choose) will be better for most of my entire life. (Some to invest wisely, some to buy awesome things NOW *g*)

The ten years no aging is insanely good too though. I am one of those guys who want to live at least 500 years. But in the long run, it is just 10 normal years i can work harder for my boss. The million dollar give me more freedom to use while i am still young....ish.

The Trip around the galaxy... yeah i suspect some kind of djinnish deal which i will probably regret when i am accelerated in 0.1 sec up to lightspeed. (watch Wishmaster *g*)

And free Trips anywhrer.. cool, but won't fill my belly, bed, or head with anything.

So i take the million. Can you make it Euros? Second would be the 2.500, then the 10 years, then the sleep.

First choice: monthly money, it comes back and never runs out. Make the lump sum 1 billion dollars and then I'll think about it.

Second choice: Galaxy trip. I don't care if it would take a long time, it would actually be pretty fun, that is if I can bring someone along with me.

everything else is pretty meh to me.

I like sleeping and the 10 years of not aging just doesn't interest me, mainly because I'm only 17, so at the moment I'm fine. If I can choose when to activate my "temporary immortality" then it would be more luring.

And a free ride would only interest me if I traveled a lot, which I don't.
Although if a free ride also means free gas for life then I will have a second thought about it.

Hmpf... you guys have to think about interest. if you get the million. take 200.000 for now, buy some stuff, open a small business whatever... If you invest the 800.000 wisely you can easily get say... 6-8% interest. That's 48.000 a year. (Depending on Taxes, and Country you live in that may get reduced to .. say 30.000 a year at minimum. That is exactly how much you are making with the monthly sum... THINK about your WISHES *g*)

And money you don't use you can use for even higher earnings. While with the monthly money you need time to build up first. With the millions you are rich NOW and it gets better. With the 2.500 you may be rich some day, if you keep working.

Define this trip around the galaxy please.
visit every planet in this galaxy within 1 month
So...you get to see each individual planet for half a second, then?
You'd use some time distortion field or something to speed up time on that planet?
I guess you'd have to, just to get around the galaxy in a month in the first place. Kinda makes the "month" designation less relevant, in that case.

Free ride anywhere. Sure, a galactic tour would blow my mind but I want to travel in MY world first.

I chose the $2500 every month option. Simply put, it's the most practical decision for me.

Would have chosen the trip around the galaxy, but we don't really know what's out there. I could making first contact with advanced civilizations, or I could be signing up for what is essentially a tour of space rocks, old satellites and planets made of deadly, deadly ammonia.
he said galaxy not universe we know that all of the other planets are barren and lifeless

While the $2500 a month is more practical, getting the $1M and depositing it to AMSLI (I think that's the name of the bank one of my professors use) will pretty much set you for life for you and your grand kids (I mean really, $100,000 a month? You will be finding excuses to spend money), just don't get too out of control with it.

Ah, thanks. Either way, we still need to sleep.
Many animals don't require sleep, insects and certain bat species for example. Anyway, we do need sleep but the option is to rid you of the need. Therefore not sleeping would not have negative effects of any kind. I really think that I cannot stress enough that the poll option is to "never need sleep." This is all a nonsensical farce anyway, look at the options for their benefits not their scientific problems.

Anyway, I choose not to sleep. The number of times I've thought that this ability would be useful is probably in the triple digits by now.

I'd take the million, purely because (as has been said before) I think it would make more sense being able to invest a one time sum like that to gain interest rather than a small sum consistently.
