A trip around the galaxy for me!
I would bring a good camera and get pictures of everything. Then I could sell them for big bucks. :)

Answer:The $2,500 a year would be perfect for my current station in the world.
Commentary: Good. For I would truly hope so.

Define this trip around the galaxy please.
visit every planet in this galaxy within 1 month
So...you get to see each individual planet for half a second, then?

nah it's just that the ship your on is extremely fast, it'll take you to each new planet within 10 seconds and you'll have 1 month to chill out in space before the ship takes you back to earth!

a galaxy trip. You'll never get that opportunity again. Also I'm that kind of person to do that.

I WOULD choose 1,000,000, but once I use it up (and it will be very fast), thats it. $2,500 every month would be nice. "Crap..used up my money. Oh, wait, gotta wait for next month!"

I enjoy sleeping too much to give that up.

A trip around the galaxy would actually be really boring, I imagine.

I would actually prefer to be aging, as most people think I look 15-16 even though I'm 20.

£2500 a month would eventually work out to be more than a single lump sum of £1,000,000.

So I chose the monthly money.

No sleep requirement would be nice, as would an extra $2.5 thousand. Although, neither come close to the knowledge and sightseeing of an entire galaxy.

EDIT:
Also, loosen up guys! There are no loopholes, ties or problems to consider.
Just imagine if your option happened without any problems.

$2500.00 every month-- Getting a large sum of money every month? I'm assuming until I die? Hell yes. (My choice)

For 10 years, you won't age-- Delaying the inevitable.

Get 1 million dollars-- Going to run out eventually. Then where are you? Back where you started.

You will never need to sleep-- Defies the laws of nature. We need sleep to regain energy. To never need sleep, you'd have to somehow provide your own energy. Could result in a mutation to make this choice occur.

A trip around the galaxy-- Doesn't specify whether or not we'll be able to survive it.

EDIT: Alright, I get it. My statement on the no-sleeping choice is flawed. I didn't look into it and was working off instinctual logic. Or something.

A steady income would be nice. I wouldn't have to work for the next year and a half if I had 2500 every month..

$2500 every month won't reach $1,000,000 for 33 years, by which time the $1,000,000 option would have gained, with a 5% interest per year account (quite easy to get if you're depositing $1,000,000), $4,003,188.54 worth of interest.

Edit: To put it more simply, the interest you'd gain from $1,000,000 would be greater than $2,500 a month.

$2,500 a month. I would say the no sleeping thing because of all the time it gives, but then I would be some kind of freak and I do love to sleep.

I like the trip around the galaxy, but not if its in a month. Id like to just spent the rest of my time travelling it.

Id like to not need to sleep, then you could get so much done and have alot more time lived. Sleep when your dead. Theres an American Dad episode on that I think...

I'll go for the no sleep thing since that's a lot of extra man hours to work with and 99.999% of the rocks in this galaxy are boring as hell.

$2,500 for every mouth? How many people are one Earth right now? Because I believe that would be a lot of money.
I'd rather this. Having $2500 to every person on earth would help solve a lot of things... or potencially make them worse. Hell, I'd be hopeful.

But seeing as it was changed, I'd take the $2500 a month option. Having to rent and live with another person, it would really really help pay for food and whatnot.
