No TC! In the ears are fine but its a turn-off for me when I see eyebrow piercings and lip piercings...it makes you look like a trashy punk to be honest.

I think piercings are fine in the following spots...

Ear
Tongue
Belly

Places where piercings are gross...

Eyebrow
Lip
Nipple
Vagina

I think nose piercings are ok but I'd still rather they didnt have a piercing there. A piercing is NOT meant to be a distraction from the best features in ladies (eyes, lips, boobs and vag.)

That and its a good icebreaker when in lolita you say to people who compliment your earrings "I couldn't remember which was the 'gay side'" ...

That being said I'm boring I just have my ears pierced and I don't feel like getting anymore >.>

Two in my left ear and one in my right. My second holes started to heal up and I repierced one but not the other (my right ear heals faster for some reason). It's handy since I can wear earrings that I lost one in the pair. Most of the time I only wear earrings on special occasions when I want to dress up.

I find belly-button piercings very trashy myself... Can't stand them in anyone. xD

Personally, I just have my ears pierced once. Been pondering getting more holes in my ears. :3

One in my ear and one in my eyebrow, got them when I was 12 and 14 respectively. Never really been a big thing to me, got it done, everyones liek Ooooooooooo! for the first week and then it's just something thats part of you from then on.

Plus when a "friend" all of a sudden say "OMG when did you get that piecing" like 2 years later you know who to eat first in case of emergency.

None. I think piercings are rather disgusting, except for on the ears. Other than that, I would never poke holes in myself. Besides, I'm a dude. I'm not even going to pierce my ears.

So yeah, none for me. Not now, not ever.

One in my middle of my bottom lip, one in my right eyebrow, and both nipples.

And no, I've never been able to explain why I wanted my nipples pierced. Few people ever see them (I spend most of my time in Scotland, you're can't really do the shirtless look much) and they don't give me any enhanced 'pleasure' if you're thinking that. I just...wanted them.

And from my experience, I'm really not surprised by the number of people here who just don't like them - not as an indictment of the people who do like them/get them, most people just...don't, it seems. Which I don't see should be a problem for those of us who do.

Eh. I don't have any piercings or tattoos, and I'm not a big fan of more than the traditional ear piercings (and perhaps belly-button piercings). And I really don't like any tattoos.

I used to have 2, tongue and labrae. I took them both out, the labrae piercing was destroying my bottom gum, tongue just went with it. I miss the labrae piercing it looked really good even when I let the patch of hair grow in (luckily I have some blond in my facial hair) and got me a decent amount of female attention. No tattoos.

I love chicks with piercings especially in non safe places. Bellybutton piercing is a slight turn off though, its a common trait like the tramp stamp amongst the more trendy crowd. I don't like tattoos at all besides one exception, for some reason a colorful sleeve I find attractive.

I have 30 piercings, they've built up over 8ish years (I'm 20)

I have 20 in my ears, 4 lips, 2 nose, 1 tounge, 1 eyebrow, 1 serptum and 1 smiley.

It sounds a lot I know, but it doesn't even look "extreme"

Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand why people always give the "I don't know why you'd get a piercing/tattoo" response. It's just a personal taste thing- like dying your hair, or wearing clothes in a certain style or colour.
I understand it's not particularly original and not everyone's cup of tea, but surely people should just accept that sometimes, you want a bit stapled purely because you feel like it.

Piercings aren't for me personally. My face pisses people off and I don't want to staple any shiny little targets to it. Nothing that can be ripped off in a fight.

However, if you want one. Get one. Don't be held back by the social stigma (really escapist forum, I'm surprised at you). Like with tattoos, your hairstyle, whether you like to be tanned or pale; it's a personal style thing and nobody can tell you that's wrong because it's what you enjoy.

I also feel strongly about how people with piercings and tats are discriminated against in job interviews. Yes I call it discrimination. You may as well say you can't get a job if you're a gamer, or if you don't rock your natural hair colour...

Anyway, to each their own. Let 'em go, I say.

Also last year I was lucky enough to kiss a girl with a lip piercing. I don't know whether she was just a good kisser or if it was the piercing but hot damn! I had some of the best kisses of my life with that girl, shame she was a horrible person but you can't have everything all of the time. Or even some of the things most of the time. Or anything anytime.
