And surprise surprise most of the comments are "I don't have any because they're fuckin gross and your a freak if you have them". I have my ears gauged and I don't plan on having any more but I am going to have tattoos next year.

Plenty. I love them all.
Left ear - industrial, right ear - circular barbell and hoop, right nostril - small hoop, nose bridge - barbell, lower lip - viperbites (two small hoops), tongue - barbell stud.. those are among the visible ones but not the only ones.
Yeah. I just got addicted to bodyart. Started playing with it when i was 19 and just added slowly whenever i could spare some money for it. So far had no problems with it after 10 years.

I find them VERY unattractive except for simple earrings. That's it. Anything else and a person just does not look right.

I have both my left ear and the side side of my lip pierced. Lip piecings are only annoying for about the first week or so, then they are easy to live with (unless you accidentally chip your tooth with it like I did >_> )

But I did! Yup, I had both my ears pierced and I stretched my left one to 16mm. Then I closed it. Then I stretched it again, to just 8mm. Now It's closed again and looks cool and gross at the same time
I also had a nose ring on the left side (I'm so punk rock) until it fell out and closed up while I was asleep

So, in short, no. Not any more. I do have a lot of tattoos though, and getting a lot more

I have my lip done in the center and my tounge done. Will get a septum at some stage too.

If you get a ring in your lip be prepared to have it feel REALLY heavy till it heals. Oh and don't expect to be able to talk to much.

I had an earing but SDA dorm nazis told me to take it out. then i had my eyebrow for about 2 and 1/5 years untill when i dove into a lake and hit the bottom it dragged it out through its hole(not much pain untill i touched it). I'm going to get my eyebrow done again someday.

My wife has her ears and her belly button but wants a nose and eybrow one as well. My friends who have had there lips done say it's hard to drink and eat for a while but then its ok. If you ever get your tounge done you are fair game for mocking though.

So what does everyone on here have done? Any lip pierced people want to share some advice? I have my ears (and had them gauged in the past)

think of your future, not many people will employ someone with holes in their face.

You could A) Take it out during working hours.
B) Take it out permanently if the job is important to you, and it'll heal up. I repeat, piercings are not permanent guys.
C) Pop in an invisible retainer during working hours.
oh, and D) There are a tonne of employers who will employ you, it often depends on what career you head into.

Nope. Won't ever get one either.

Don't want a cavity and strip search every time I go to the airport.

They're nowhere NEAR big enough to set of a detector at the airport.

I just have this thing about trying to avoid deliberately permanently changing my body. No piercings, not tattoos, none of that. Unless someone invents a safe way to make me 2-3 inches taller without destroying proportionality, in which case I'm there.

I repeat, piercings are not permanent.

I say get the Tattoo,I have two piercings,and they are unmentioned when people see the 115 dollar Tiger tattoo on my back.

No piercings as of yet. i'd like some in the future. Perhaps a labret or nipple piercing. Maybe down below, who knows.
