Poll: Piercings?

just my ears for now but when I have some money I want to get my ear done again and maybe the side of my nose.

I got my ears pierced when I was five and didn't have much of a choice in the matter. We found out that one of the holes was crooked and I had to let them close up. Then I got them redone when I was nine. I've thought about getting my cartilage done, but I'm so clumsy that it would be a terrible idea. I like my one hole in each ear.

Got straight forward lobe piercings when I was 8, and have one upper cartilage ring and one scaffold piercing. I'm going to get another lobe set done and maybe another cartilage one, but I have a round face so piercings wouldn't look right on it.

I knew a girl who got her nipples done while in high school, and then insisted on showing us them in DT lessons. Not an experience I'd like to relive.

I want to get my lip pierced next week after years of being promised "you can do what you want when you finish school" and now my mom is telling me that i can get a tattoo or anything else but not my lip done. Which is confusing me greatly to be honest. Still doing it though!
So what does everyone on here have done? Any lip pierced people want to share some advice? I have my ears (and had them gauged in the past)

I say get the Tattoo,I have two piercings,and they are unmentioned when people see the 115 dollar Tiger tattoo on my back.

I don't know what kinda tat i want yet (well..) Ok i know what i want but not where i want it. I plan on losing weight in college with a friend of mine so maybe next year when i have a body part i actually like i might tattoo it with my avatar <---

I've got my ear lobes pierced twice, my left ear has a scaffold piercing, got my nose pierced and a tattoo on my right upper-back/shoulder. I want more piercings and tattoos, but I can't quite think of what to have.

I would never get a tongue piercing though. I think they are too risky, especially with hitting a vein or getting infected and being unable to talk properly.

I think lip piercings look okay, and you can always take the ring out and put in a more subtle stud.

No. But if I ever kill a bear with my bare hands or a tool created from them and the wilderness then I must put it's tooth through my ear.

I created a bunch of crazy rules I must keep when I was 12. Don't get me started on lions.

It's a trend to pierce tongues, belly buttons and lips in my area. Annoys me too, it's only done to 'fit in'.

I dislike them in general, I'm fine with earrings (not those ridiculous big hoops though), one on the nose (though does sort of look like a metal spot) and tongue on females.

And people really do go over-the-top for me. Some are disgusting, especially ones on the penis. *shudders*

No I am not. They really gross me out. I feel it's bad enough to circumsise them, let alone stick metal there.

I have 3 in each ear. I have no problem with piercings and if you are not happy take it out, they are not permanent

I'm a girl so I got preassured by my grandma to get my lobes pierced at around 12. (she threatened to pierce them in my sleep!)
I had double helixes done a few months ago as well and am really happy with them (aside from the fact that the healing process is really long).

If you like the way a lip piercing looks go for it and if you regret it one day you can always take it out.

My girlfriend paid for my nipple piercings on our 2nd anniversary. I think they look good, they've made things more sensitive, and she really wanted to get them for me.
