Don't lie to me.
Madagascar is like that stronghold that's always in zombie movies, that the zombies eventually overrun.
Except you will never overrun Madagascar.

They have divine protection or something.
Seriously.
it's on my top 5 accomplishments and it was F****** HARD

I'm pretty sure that swine flu will purge the scattered remnants of our species from the planet. After the global SARS and Avian Flu pandemics ravaged our populations, we simply don't have the numbers to weather this storm.

But all these pandemic alarms will backfire when a real pandemic comes and no-one cares cause the 4 last one where overhyped.

it's like when the fire alarm goes of, after 3-4 times you stop caring

Is medical technology better than 1918? of course, and how long will most health care systems cope with people infected in the millions

Does transport in 2009 allow people who are infected to be basically anywhere on earth within 24 hours spreading the virus in a country where the level of medical technology that exists in western countries doesnt really exist and gives the virus a large population pool to spread and mutate into a more virulent and contagious form?

did the 1918 influenza outbreak singlehandly stop world war 1? no. but the fact that it tended to target young fit people and killed millions did contribute to the end of it

This outbreak is serious and has the potential to become a pandemic. the only reason it wouldnt would be because of good planning and luck
that a new disease kills a lot of livestock doesn't mean that the human populace is F*****
