Its an awesome idea, but you do need to consider the maintenance costs as well... Like, if its staying in the water, that bump up the costs a hell of a lot, even if you don't actually sail the thing (ships need to be taken on land every now and then to replace rotten timber on the hull).

That said, its an awesome idea, and if you keep to it, I believe you could prevail.

You could take it around the world whilst a few bands go on tour ON THE SHIP!

And if it was big enough presumably you could charge stupid amounts of money for a few people (obviously not staff.... sorry crew and the bands) with to much money to come with you or something.

Slightly off topic but I did have a pirate themed drunken eve for my cousens birthday. We all dressed as pirates, visited seven pubs (7 pubs for the 7 seas) and ordered nautical/typical pirate drinks, twas even a dark and stormy night.

days so we have pirate everything, so as a result, pirate anything seems normal.
