Hehe, I realised what he was getting at with C just before I checked, never trust a loaded question. Didn't get the other two. Isn't it a bit unfair to say churchill was 'kicked out'. The first time he was democratically voted out in favour of Clement Atlee and the second time he had a stroke. How are either his fault? (though I can see how the stroke might be from his drinking).

still those where their attributes roosevelt delt with crooked politicians winston was kicked out of office and the most scandalous thing hitler ever did was be patriotic (im not siding with him the holocaust was actually out of patriatism)
Where those the only attributes?

No.

This is why this example, as well as the abortion one, doesn't show or prove a thing other than things can be skewed... which everyone knows anyway.

What I'm getting at is that just about everyone who's at the age to vote for a leader is at the point where they realize this.

Or, to put it another way:

Choose one of the two carefully:

1. One kills you.

2. One relieves your pain.

Which would you prefer?

Well, the first one is water, which having had enough of it in a short period of time will kill you. The other is oxycodone, which, having had enough of it in a short period of time will kill you.

This doesn't really mean anything though, and that's the point.

A or B. I wouldn't let any so called "warhero" to be a president, they tend to be (even though not always, I guess) full of shit and filled with stupid predispositions if not crazy.
Agreed. Also, C sounded conservative for me, so I picked B... Although I guessed who the three were before reading the answers, simply because I've read a lot about early 20'th century history. I'd have picked B anyway, though, since I have a natural dislike towards corruption and am not a fan of conservatism.

Chose B since I don't trust a politician who consults astrologers to be able to make the right decisions and someone living as clean as C has probably not any true connection with the people (besides I do not care for people who brag with their war experience, they are likely a little too fond of the military/facist state)

Besides I prefer someone with flaws to be in office.

I actually chose A because I don't trust vegetarians.
Just kidding, but I still chose A because C didn't sound reasonable.
I also didn't choose C, probably because I've seen this "war hero, vegetarian" and so on before.

I don't quite understand that. What is wrong with conservativism? Are there no things worth conserving?

god is this thing old. remember this from my civics class in 4th grade (14 years ago). that being said, i chose winston churchill because he wasant afraid to say what he meant no matter who it angered and it saw people and the world for who/what they were. in my opinion the world needs people like churchill today, but unfortuanetly they seem to not be around.

anyway, theres kind of a misnomer with hitler. hitler married eva braun only a month before they killed each other, however while they were dating hitler WAS involved with several other women (several of whom killed themselves), so while he didnt have any extramarital affairs he WAS involved in paligamious relationships prior to his marrige.
That would be polygamous or rather polyamorous, poly coming from the greek many, as they weren't married.

I chose C, Hitler. For the exact same reasons countless others did. He was charismatic and frankly an astounding leader. He of course wasn't a good person but he was a great orator and knew how to get people moving.

This. What he did with Germany was astounding. What he did to Germany is a different matter.

I thought Hitler never made it past Lance Corporal, so I didn't realise he was a decorated war hero. Also, he wasn't vegetarian.

Well A and B are l33t but I would have to pick C if it wasn't Hitler seeing as how he seems like a kind of guy I'd want to run a country.

I chose C but I knew from looking at it that it was probably a trick. My next choice was B because in those puzzles with the jumbled up pieces of string it's always B.

I chose A because I feel like he's a normal guy who would have the balls to make difficult decisions

Not sure about the vegetarian one but you are partially correct. He was only a lance corporal but he was given the iron cross (first and second class) and the German eqivilant of a purple heart.
I do think that this is a loaded question though. After all it misses the fact that Hitler was convicted for attempt to stage a coup and that Churchill was also a hero having been lord of the Admiralty in WW1. I don't know much about Roosevelt so I can't challenge the OP on that.
