They've said the game would be longer than Assassin's Creed II. :)
Piqued my interest, but is that: If you spend 3 hrs doing respawning side missions/ unlock everything/ play multiplayer.

I'll likely get it, but i sure am nervous.

Hated the first Assassins Creed, it was just boring. Apparently the second one is far superior but I haven't got around to playing it. I also didn't even realise that "Brotherhood" was AC3 - I thought it was like some expansion pack or something. Yeah, I don't really care enough to follow it.

hmmm, there should have just been a no option instead of calling it a generic assassins game...

I'm not gonna get it. I am already set for games until Christmas.

Waiting for it to come out on PC, with any and all DLC included - they did it for the first two, I'm ok with waiting.
This.

I've got it pre-ordered (the Harlequinn one. Though I now like the look of the Hellequin better). It's the last release I'm looking forward to until February. I'm pretty excited about this one. I've been reading about the actual historical characters of the series over the last week.

My Jack in the Box Doctor will come in the mail, meaning I have no idea when I'll get it.

I dunno - does it have the same draconian DRM as II? If so then I doubt I'll be buying it. Otherwise I'll be getting it for Christmas break cos ACII was sweet

Have you looked at the multiplayer? It looks great. That means a lot coming from me, as the only online multiplayer I've done ever is Team Fortress 2 and fiddling around with Street Fighter IV for a few days. I'm generally a single-player kind of guy, but I'm looking forward to the Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood multiplayer. The story is supposed to be at least as long as the second game's, I believe. So you can just think of the multiplayer as a bonus that you may or may not be in to.

Plus, the team seems to know what fans want. Look at how improved the second game was over the first.

If every single one of my xbox friends hadn't bought black ops, which I had to do or else Id never see them lol, I might have gotten it. However after black ops I will say I am done with these annualized titles, and since I don't think Ive touched ac2 since I found all the glyphs I can say I will rent the game, beat it, and be glad to not have it on my shelf.

This. Except I actually do mind the waiting. But I only have a PC and that's not likely to change so I really have no choice but to wait.

Since I live in Europe, it is released thursday...my trusted dealer has it on his list for tomorrow, but I am not sure if he really gets it...but since I am in the area tomorrow regardless, I will stop by and if it is in stock, I'll get it...otherwise I'll order from Amazon...

No because it comes out in my country on FRIDAY and for some bizarre games are always released in America on Tuesday (which I've never really understood. If you're releasing something that will be used exclusively in the players free time it makes much more sense to release it the last day before the weekend instead of releasing it in the middle of the working week).

Aye, the same here. Steam works for 90% of the games I want, the few that aren't on there aren't worth buying a console for.
