I played and beat both Alttp and Oot and of course they are similar all Zelda games are similar in the sense that they always have a similar story, similar characters and the fact that Nintendo tries out a new Idea oneach new game it releases, like time travel in Oot and duel worlds in ALttP, in each new installment of franchise. besides it would be more apropriate to say that Twilight Princess is a copy of ALttP seeing how they both use the light and dark world concept to drive the story line. yes the similarities are there between the two but not enough to say that OoT was trying to be a 3D ALttP. Personally I think OoT is more similar to the Oracle of Ages on the Game Boy, though I think OoT came out first.BudZer said:It's the weakest because it tries to be a 3D ALttP and fails at it.Sacman said:OoT is one of the strongest in the series next to twilight princess because it gave Legend of Zelda such a smooth transition into 3D and with out the milestones, like Targeting, it set for the series it wouldn't have evolved into what we have on the Wii and Game Cube. besides howcan u say this is the weakest in the series it had a good amount of action and puzzle solving, though the story is as linear and predictable as you could expect from a legend of zelda game it had a couple nice surprises and twists and I liked how u had to move back and forth through time to solve some of the puzzles. all the distinct feels of the temples and areas were nice and refreshing too, u can tell the effort they put into the lvl design(though maybe alittle too much effort in the water temple)BudZer said:The one that people will stop talking about because OoT is one of the worst in the series.
yeah, definitely Spirit Temple. always been my favorite, and it has the best boss in the game, tooDarth Pope said:Spirit Temple for having the most variety.
