Occasionally. Mainly depends on what I'm playing or what I'm doing.

I usually treat games more like an episode of MST3k though than actually talking with myself. If you mean do I say stuff like "Ok...lemme go check out what's in this room" No, I don't do that.

But will I make up some fun dialogue for my silent protagonist? You bet your ass I will.

As for myself, I occasionally do, but it's more thinking out loud. So things like, "Hmm... maybe if I do this?" or even "Why the fuck are so many people on my team so fucking retarded? How the hell do they even manage to turn on their PlayStations without tripping over their own two feet and killing themselves!?"

I do, but I talk to myself all the time not only while playing video games, I mean I don't have any friends so I don't have anybody to talk to but myself so that's what I do.

However, since watching a few commentated Youtube "Let's Play"s, I've taken to keeping up a running commentary in my head.

It's actually a bit annoying. I wish I could stop.

Yep. Pretty regularly. As a kid, I used to make up lines for my character to say. These days, it's usually me planning out what I'm doing in a game step by step, though only on my own. Unless I'm playing online on XBL or PSN, then I'm generally cussing, cheering or combinations thereof, depending on the situation and bollocks to whoever else might be in the room at the time.

But my usual is: "Do this, do that, da da da da da, bing!" Or something equally nonsensical.

Yep, a bit too much. Thats why I started doing LPs really. Gave me a legitimate reason to, and they're pretty fun.

I have a tick that I talk to myself if stressed. Doesn't really happen whilst gaming so no.

Apart from the strings of curses that have been escaping ever since i started Dark Souls, God Hand, I Wanna Be The Guy and other games of similar difficulty rating, talking to myself is kind of how i make mental notes.

I suppose i would make a great informative LP walkthrougher.

I usually only talk to myself when I'm talking to another person for some reason. What I mean is, I talk to people on the phone or over Skype when I'm playing a game, and sometimes I'll interrupt what I'm saying to curse or something like that, but I usually don't when I'm not talking to anyone.

Ever since I began watching "Let's Plays" I've started talking to myself when playing games. I don't do it all the time, though... not yet, at least.
