I do have a tendency to have one sided conversations when playing certain games. Either that or yelling at characters in cutscenes for doing something overwhelmingly stupid.

No. I'm not sure there's any way for me to elaborate on this. I keep my thoughts inside.

Yeah sometimes. Depends on the game, if it's a more intellectually engaging or story-driven game. Something like Borderlands I probably won't, since it's kinda grindy repetition and my mind goes on to other things. But something like Deus Ex or Mass Effect I might start commenting on the situations, in my head if I'm alone, out aloud if there's someone watching (partner, friend, brother, etc).

"Talk" seems to suggest conversation.

I don't converse with myself whilst I'm playing games, but I may occasionally speak, respond to dialogue or in other ways, verbally react to the game.

Depends on the game really. I do enjoy making up amusing dialogue for silent protagonists, and in games like Deadly Premonition (which I am currently in love with), I'll comment on the plot and who I think the raincoat killer really is, but it's kind of mumbling like "Okay, so it couldn't be this guy, because he was here when this happened, and that guy could always be it, but I'm not sure, and... *new piece of evidence* THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING"
I love games when I can do stuff like this.

Yes, yes I do. It's usually only when I'm actually attempting to apply myself (TRYHARD MODE, YEAH!). In that case, it's like a constant narration of everything I'm doing, or in the event that I'm failing horribly, a string of expletives, insults directed at game entities or characters, or saying 'WHAT?!' multiple times.

Eyup, I'm usually coming up with elaborate curses or describing painful death's to those that kill me.

"Frak you Mega Man!" Yeah, just Mega Man games for me, oh and when I talk to RPG NPC's as if their real...I have no friends...also Hey You, Pikachu! Yep, no friends...

Not only do I talk to myself, but I talk to the game as well. Why, just yesterday I was tearing up the mercenary camp in Fable 3, yelling, "what now, dicks," to every man who fell to my gunfire.

Occasionally. Mainly depends on what I'm playing or what I'm doing.

I usually treat games more like an episode of MST3k though than actually talking with myself. If you mean do I say stuff like "Ok...lemme go check out what's in this room" No, I don't do that.

But will I make up some fun dialogue for my silent protagonist? You bet your ass I will.
This.

I also do it during puzzle games because it helps me think things out clearly.

Yes and no. At times I'll speak to the characters within the game. Technically it is talking to myself, but I honestly don't feel it as such.

Yes, yes I do. Most of the time its little comments about the situation I'm in on a game. Like, if a planned attack goes horribly awry I'd say something like "Well that went exactly like I hoped it wouldn't." Or just thinking out loud about how I want to proceed.

I talk to myself in most circumstances. While playing games my vocabulary seems to narrow though, basically just to "Fucking" and "****."
What people say in fifty words I can usually say in two or three.

Yes, several times. Most of it is situational, such as crowded rooms of enemies, stupid stunts pulled by game's AI to make it "challenging", exclamations of surprise or grumbling of aggravation. I'll sometimes read the speech out loud to get a sense of a character's personality (or mock the lack of one).

I think this is pretty much the same for almost everyone. It's hard not to get immersed in a good game or vent because a game AI pulled the wool over you. It's like venting to a friend about it, but your friend isn't available for comment. At least that's how I see it. LOL
