No option for "Yes, but never in combat and neither I nor my parents own one"?
...
Yes, but never in combat and neither I nor my parents own one. I live in the UK and I'm a member of my university shooting club. We do mainly clay shooting.

I've gone trap shooting before, but I honestly don't have a whole lot of firearm experience. I probably have more experience with dart projectors for chemical immobilization purposes than real guns. I am going deer hunting this fall for the first time though, so I'm very excited about that. I don't own a gun, but if hunting goes well then I might make the investment and get one. I'm in America by the way, Wisconsin to be precise.

er, i have fired weapons, ages ago, but with the cadets... you probably need to make another poll for all the people in the UK like me saying something like "yes, but as a sponsered event, i don't own it."

US resident, have owned several handguns, rifles, and a shotgun. Have never had any reason to use one thank goodness. The US is not the bullet zinging loony land that some other countries seem to think we are.

My dad's a gunsmith, so yeah, I've shot a gun (America). Mostly target shooting. I've done very little small game hunting. Now mostly it is trap shooting (so shotguns). I'm not in to it as much as my family, but Thursday nights are tourny nights and I participate still on occasion. I much prefer shooting handguns to shotguns. Every once in a while something really big and fun comes through the door and it's worth a trip back to their house to shoot those when the opportunity knocks. :)

No finns yet? Obviously most men in Finland get to fire a range of guns since we have conscript army service. Might as well still list what I got to try. There was the RK62 assault rifle (of course), KK62 light machine gun and NSV 12.7 (50cal) heavy machine gun. Also a light anti tank RPG if that counts as a gun.

I am American. I have not, but I would like to, and I am considering making a request for my birthday to go find a firing range and have at it.

This poll doesn't have a slot for me...

I've shot a .22 a fair number of times at a friend's hunting camp.
Other than that, a 12-gauge and some higher caliber rifle- but not as frequently.

I shot a 9mm glock, .45 magnum, and a Desert Eagle. I don't own or know anyone who does own these but I went down to a shooting range and rented them and shot them there.

I live in California, and I've shot pretty much every gun that's legal to shoot in this state at least once.

I own a gun, but I don't keep ammo in the house due to children.

Pretty regularly, American, and I bought it for my dad. Mosin Nagant 91/30, guns older than my dad and I combined, shoots like a dream though.

Also shoot my brother's AR-15, Ruger 10/22, and am looking forward to ranging his and his gf's new guns.
