Everyone (I would hope) washes it regularly. 6 Seconds means nothing, and that still dosent rule out the risks, at ALL.
Medical evidence?

Because there's certainly medical evidence of botched/infected circumcision scars.

I don't know why people still cling to the idea that male circumcision was ever about hygiene. There was a rumour in the 19th century that it stopped you catching syphilis (which was epidemic at the time) and that it prevented boys from masturbating, both have proved to be wrong, yet somehow you all still cling to the idea of some medical benefit to the practice.

Because there is medical evidence. But have fun with your little theory. Have fun!

This. Doctors don't care. They just want money and they'll let patients become worse just for a few extra bucks. Allowing parents to make an uninformed decision so he can make money? Talk about unethical. You should also sue that doctor. The doctors and nurses from the hospitals are the worst. A good number of them like hurting people. My source? A friend of mine went in for a varicose vein (took around a week of hospitalization) and the nurses were practically torturing the patients by mistreating them.
The weird thing in my case though is that the doctor didn't make money from my parents pockets as we have government funded health care. I'm not sure how that works for their pay though. But I totally hear ya on the sadistic nurse thing, I've heard a lot of horror stories lately about retirement homes that had mistreated the patients/occupants. That and my cousin is a nurse and she is one of the most screwed up people I know, even from my perspective and I have huge issues.

From what I remember, isnt female circumsision used to remove pleasure from women so they dont enjoy sex? Thats not cool.
Its not like that for men though, and it just makes men less gross.

Well I (mistakenly) Google'd it without SafeSearch and am scarred about the topic now. But I can't really tell which version is which since I tried to leave the search as quickly as possible.

As far as i understand, and i know quite a bit. there is no allowed female circumsition within my religion (Islam), despite whatever rural woman Africa or Souther Arabia says otherwise. and there are several Islamic organizations (even from ultra conservative Saudi) as well as Christian organizations in Africa, trying to stop this sort of practice.

Not to mention there are not even any benefits and only negatives for doing so. and anyone with a knowledge of history would find that his practice is a still existing historical cultural baggage from the time of the Pharaoh's in Egypt.

No. Female Genital Mutilation, as it's known outside commmunities which practice it, is a fucking barbaric practice merited by NOTHING WHATSOEVER.

I realise the OP may have been made in sarcasm, but personally I don't see the humour.
This. Because I couldn't think of anything else to say except "No.", and that's "low content".

Edit:

I just looked it up and I would like to change my answer from no to... Fuck No. No way in hell. Absolutely not. And you know, other variations of that.

Actually male circumcision has a massive upside which makes it the only choice for the forward thinking parent:

If you end up in the desert, it doesn't get sand in it. Becomes even more important if you're going to be spending a couple months there.

Female circumcision is disgusting, why are we even having this discussion? If it's a joke, I don't 'get it'. Talking about this topic makes me want to hit people in the face.
this is yet another thread designed to "expose the evils" of male circumcision, by creating a false equivalency with so-called "female circumcision". but it's a very lame attempt, because as has already been stated, there is abso-fucking-lutely NO benefit to "female circumcision" and a hell of a lot of negatives; whereas male circumcision, while having next-to-no benefit, is not much of a detriment, either. if male circumcision actually meant having your whole dick cut off, then people could compare it to "female circumcision".

argue against male circumcision all you want, but if people are going to compare it to "female circumcision", i.e. female genital mutilation, i'm gonna call them on that crap. there is no comparison.

*edit* to be clear, i am totally ambivalent on the issue of male circumcision. i just have a serious issue with people saying destroying a woman's ability to feel sexual gratification is the same thing. it's basically the genital equivalent of Godwin's Law.

There are no benefits for either gender, but with females it actively disadvantages them by removing an important erogenous zone.

I don't support male circumcision either. More my preference.

I was never circumcised. My junk works fine. Was never told how to wash it. I just did it.

Great gods no! I'm not so sure about circumcising my possible sons, but female circumcision is down right horrible from what I hear and serves no purpose.
