It's fine and all, just don't force yourself to get one if you truly don't want to or can. Having either a PS3 or a 360 is fine, having both is good.

I have a 360 and I'm getting a PS3 soon for LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Heavy Rain. So yeah, I'd say it's worth it.
I think there are more benefits to getting a PS3 than just the exclusives. Playstation Store offers great games old and new, free online multiplayer with a noticeably more pubescent userbase, and plenty more great titles (exclusives included) sure to come.
Yeah sure. I found Infamous, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Heavy Rain to be worth the console alone. Plus, it's nice to have incase your 360 ker-plodes. Helped me a lot.
Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, LittleBigPlanet, inFamous, Demon's Souls, the PS1 classics on the PSN.

I've got both. Since I've beaten Uncharted 2 the only game I play is LittleBigPlanet and most of the time I only play that with friends. My main use for it is the Blu Ray Player and I think it's totally worth it for that alone. But if you'd never use it or already have a Blu Ray player I say don't waste your money on a PS3.
Well I only play 360 games at my friends house, but I have quite a few Triple A exclusives, and a lot more than friend on his 360, so yes.
Well if you have the disposable income to purchase a PS3 why not? At the very least it's a good blue ray, and the fact that it has free online is a seller in my book. I don't have one and i don't think i ever will, i have a 360 and a PC so i really don't need a PS3.
Totally agree with you there, LBP, MGS4 n Heavy Rain are the sole three reasons i bought a PS3..ProfessorLayton said:
as for the actual question, its worth it if you think theres gonna be a lot of decent ps3 exclusive to play, i do find having both a bit of a waste of money because since a lot of the games i want to play online are on PS3 i seem to have relegated my 360 to a glorified dvd player..
As a person who just bought a PS3 about 3 weeks ago I can tell you it is totally worth it. I love Ratchet & Clank and God of War. They two of my favorite series. Also I thought Heavy Rain would be crap but Whoa I'm playing it right now...it is awesome! Also Siren blood Curse, Resistance, Killzone, Uncharted, Littlebigplanet, and a couple of the PSN games (echoshift and Pixeljunk Monsters) and the ability to download PSOne games it was so worth it.
