Wow.

Way to alienate me, one of the females on this forum.

Sure, it may all be in fun, but over my time here I have seen so many threads on the Escapists' preferences on women physically. I hate to think it, but I'm beginning to think if I met some of you people, I'd be measured up to a mental list of physical characteristics, and reduced to a score on how much I please you visually.

This makes me mad, because women are more than collections of physical features. Maybe you know that, but I thought I'd share my two cents' worth...

I know what you mean. While I appreciate that the OP may really just be curious about what the female-preferring (I won't restrict it to male, although that is rather implicit) portion of the escapist looks for...

...the idea of a thread series 'designing' the perfect woman is a bit creepy. Also a little sad. =P

I mean, what's the point? It's just reinforcing the idea that you can go out into the world with a checklist and try to match it to people.

EDIT: and while one might claim that this is OK 'because we'll do a male one at some point'..is that actually any better? I don't want to 'build' the perfect man either. It's still creepy. You can have your personal preferences, your ideals etc, but this feels wrong.
