Poll: Popular "multiplayer" FPS of choice

What is your favourite multiplayer FPS at the moment? I'm assuming only FPS interested people will answer, so there is no "I don't like FPS' option".

I put the most popular ones up, but feel free to point out more if your FPS of choice isn't on the poll, I can't remember all of them.

Team Fortress gets my vote right now but right now WoT has me enthralled. It's an FPS/TPS tank game and I'm hooked.

I like Halo a lot, but Bad Company 2 was just an amazingly new game to me, so that's also a great Battlefield contender.
Call of Duty is so-so, worth a play through at least.

Team Fortress 2. Halo, Call of Duty, and Battlefield have all sort of lost their appeal to me for the moment.

I don't really have a favorite. I often switch between Battlefield and Call of Duty. It just depends on what kind of gameplay I'm in the mood for.

Counter-Strike mostly, nothing beats that game for me, its perfect (bar the AWP, it needs to be fixed).. no stats, no perks, no kill streaks.. its all you, thats how I like it.

Also, I do love Halo, mostly with friends though, not often do I go into XBL and play random matches.

It has to be Halo right now. Cause I only have a 360 and I've never really played any of the other game series on the list. Had a bit of a go at CoD:WaW, MW2 and Black Ops but I found them infuriating to the point where they cost me a controller.

I do intend on trying out Battlefield 3 when it's released though.

TF2. Would have been CoD if this poll had came out when CoD4 did. But now CoD has just made 3-4 years worth of same old same old dish water and it's starting to grate on me. Halo just made me very bored. The others I just haven't played.

Of the ones on the poll, the Team Fortress series, specifically TF2, gets my vote, even though I'm too much of a wuss to actually go onto the multi and spend all my time in either offline practice or alone on passworded servers on those achievement maps that are built to have boss-like constructions.

Off-poll... well, it depends. Is Left 4 Dead considered a FPS by the definition used here?

None of these run-n-gunners. I like the tactical fps like the OLD Rainbow six (Raven shield and anything before it) Ghost Recon (only the original), Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis, Arma2 (even though i can't run it), The Brothers in Arms Games (to a lesser extent)

I heard Swat 3 and 4 were good , but haven't tried them yet.

Those two would have featured on my list had there been a notable one still very much played online today, but they aren't for some reason

I prefer tactical / stealth shooters as well, like taking out enemies not aware of my presence rather than just firing at everything that moves.
