how come i cant choose brink?
'Cause that wouldn't fit into the list, since it isn't a serie it would look out of place. (and many find it a piece of garbage, but I'll not give into temptation)
Brink is a sequel to Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, and Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, as far as gameplay/design is concerned. A lot of elements, however, are radically different.

ET:QW had vehicles/asymmetrical teams, and Wofl:ET was far less linear.

All are pretty great games, in my opinion.

i do love FPS's but they get kinda stale (not bashing any FPS)
my favs are counter-strike, Halo, BattleField, and Team fortress 2.
i enjoy take long breaks between each game, almost like a rotation.

Lead and Gold-Gangs of the Wild West! Its lack of popularity is sinful, sinful I say!
Also, why does it keep saying I have 4 messages? There's nothing in my inbox. :S
That's a third person shooter, so I guess it doesn't qualify, and you might want to check your "quoted" box instead.

That said, TF2 for me, it doesn't take itself too seriously and it's genuinely fun. It sure has kept me happy these past three years.

Well, I do like most of the ones listed, but if I had to chose I'd probably go with Call of Duty, but I am hoping that Battlefield 3 is good.

I've bought MW2 and Bops and enjoyed them quite a bit. But,like all multiplayer games(WoW excluded),they tend to become boring after doing the same maps over and over.

I've reached prestige 5 in MW2 and prestige 3 in Bops and I gave up after that.I got tired of leveling all the way back up again,it wasn't fun anymore.

I never had the chance to try Battlefield series, but I might give BF3 a shot this year.MW3 looks exactly like MW2 only with more weapons which is a bit let down for me.

PS: I'm a PC gamer and don't own any consoles so my opinions regarding which series I enjoyed is rather vague.

MAG at the moment. May change to BF3 comes Nov. Almost definitely will change to Dust514 by next summer.

God damn, I can't wait for the Dust 514 beta.

Call of Duty and Halo are way over played.

The best FPS series is the Unreal Tournament series as it is way faster than the other games series and it isnt realistic and it lets you carry more than 2 guns.

[/color = green] I wish I could vote for both but screw it; Halo. I'm really into the Battlefield series and Halo. Battlefield is much more authentic and the destructible environments + vehicles = messy pants. Halo's multiplayer seems to be taking itself much less seriously and is much more arcadey in nature (e.g. Halo skeeball/hockey, Grifball). Both have their merits and both are fantastic games. Good one.
I like Day of Defeat myself, or Battlefield 2. I still play BF:BC2 but only because it is easier to find a server for than BF2.

Recently two friends of mine put together a couple of teams to play a team based multiplayer grudge match. I was recruited into a team made mostly of Civ players and X-com fiends and we were pitted against a bunch of COD reflex shooters. To create a even playing field it was decided that we would play a game that was new to all of us, and because we are cheap it couldn't cost too much. Anyway we all bought Breach. It was some of the most fun I've ever had in an online shooter. I suspect that it was because of the people I was playing with and the fact that the game really suited our team's strategic thinking.

EDIT: Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is also fantastic, and FREE, hard to find a server for it though.

Game Sever Browser?

There are plenty of ET servers still around. Many with mods, but NoQuarter is good enough, if you ask me.

I should clarify, hard for me to find where I have a decent ping.

What is your favourite multiplayer FPS at the moment? I'm assuming only FPS interested people will answer, so there is no "I don't like FPS' option".

I put the most popular ones up, but feel free to point out more if your FPS of choice isn't on the poll, I can't remember all of them.
I'm unfamiliar with "MAG," is that bad?
