Poll: Porn ads? Really?

It wouldn't really bother me personally, but I know a lot of people will be bothered by it, so I don't really think it's worth doing. It'll alienate more people then it pleases and there might be legal issues, especially since some of the people here are underage, I KNOW that's an issue.

Why is there a such a problem with porn ads on the escapist? I mean sexual needs as just as valid as emotional/intellectual ones like the escapist usually offers, so i don't see a problem with this.

I'm not seeing any porn ads, but I agree with the majority of people in this thread regardless. Porn ads don't belong on The Escapist.

I did'nt come here for porn so I dont see the point in the ads.
Though if I do go looking for porn thats not where ill be going to get it.

This is a web site about gaming, I suppose you could say it's directed towards PS3 owners, but...I don't know I guess I like to keep my...uh entertainment separate.

I wish there weren't porn related ads here because I like to go on it on my down time at work. It compromises the work safe nature of the site.
