Here's the thing.

We oppress political opposition for the sake of political unity.
However that on it's own is not fascism.
My ideology is very....specific and one of it's elements on it's own does not equate to it!
As apparently energized as I am to get in a back and forth conversation with anyone who replies to my message, I've afraid there's one critical flaw that prevents me from doing so: contrary to those other knuckleheads, you've actually engaged in enough critical thought that I find this sentiment relatively without reproach.

The fascism example was brought up for shock effect. I was pointing out the similarities to what they were attempting to do here in telling me, "you are should not write anything that could be interpreted as insulting." It was the essence of what leads to fascism, which is quite a powerful buzz-word, but of course what they were doing was not literally fascism. It went completely over their head, alas. :(

Say, what's anime is that Avatar of yours from? Looks a little bit like Duck/Ahiru from Princess Tutu but it's definitely not because of the goggles, eyes, and mouth.

It gives "sluts, hos, and perverts" a social safety valve. I put them in quotation marks because I don't know the politically correct term for sluts, hos, and perverts.

Not sure why that image would be censored... it's not exactly nudity, and that's the only thing DA seems to care about being censored.

Still kinda freaky, though, and she has two left hands. >_>

Also, it's a great way to learn about some things about sex (positions, pleasure zones, etc) that you probably wouldn't learn otherwise because it can be awkward asking parents which position gets people off best...
Dude, porn is possibly the worst place to learn about sex. It's all idealised and rehearsed, and the positions are chosen for how visually appealing they are to the viewer, not how fun they are.

If all of your sexual knowledge comes from porn, prepare to be disappointed, and to disappoint (And possibly injure) others.

Not to learn all I know about sex, but to add to what I've learned, and will hopefully continue to learn and discover for myself. Watching it with a girlfriend, for example, was a great way to open up topics that might not otherwise come up, not to mention that it can give great ideas for role-play. I'm not saying I'm some nut that learned all I know about women from watching these videos, but thanks to what I have learned (and lots of open communication) I've discovered creative ways to enhance the experience.

It is prostitution.
It is immoral.
It is exploitative.
It is dangerous.
I'd quite like you to justify any or all of those statements. You tell me how porn is dangerous? And why one earth is it immoral. It certainly isn't exploitative. Being exploitative suggests that one party has no choice in the matter, whereas they actually do. Derogatory? Maybe, but not really. Men tend to be in control, but at the same time their is still lesbian, gay and femdom which counterbalances it.
Alright, I'll dignify this with an honest reply, but I concede the matter is subjective psychology. Many women that talk about their lives in porn have talked about having dealt with drug addiction, sexual abuse, mental illness, depression(I guess that would fall under mental illness, but I'm being specific), alcoholism, even suicide. I suggest that this is subjective because two people can each look at a drug addicted hooker and offer two or more distinct thoughts. One being that the ***** brought it on herself, the other being that drugs are a scourge and she's fallen victim to circumstances that went beyond her control. My perspective, in all honesty is that porn serves a purpose, and it's all about how you use it. I know someone who had a child with a man that eventually chose watching porn to being with her and raising their child. In fact, I've known a few people that have succumbed to the allure of fantasy over reality. It's like a gun, in the right hands it's jolly good fun, in the wrong hands it will ruin lives. Subjective, so you be the judge.

Morality is purely subjective as well, unless you're one of those indoctrinated religious nuts. I'm a Christian, but I see sex as a celebration of the body and of our emotions, not as some evil thing to be shunned in public and tepidly welcomed in private. I pose it this way; if you have a job, something you do for a living, and you are unwilling to candidly discuss it with others, chances are good it's a job of either questionable repute or it's a dirty job you'd just rather not talk about.

An interesting documentary I saw once called "The Dark Side of Porn" talked quite a lot about this. Their piece on amateur porn was pretty fascinating. Not recommended for anyone under 18, though.

dumb. no one aside of sick fucks actually finds bukkake and cumshots and s&m sexually arousing, but some find it funny. i agree in that the ACTORS are the shells, but the people watching are mostly to my knowledge laughing at someone who is either a sick fuck themselves, or someone who will do anything for $100.

also, i dont give a rats ass if porn is prostitution or not. its enjoyable and fun to fap to. that is all.

p.s. the sheeple thing? dumb.
So what you're saying is, basically, that the porn you watch it OK, but if someone watches any other kind they're a "sick fuck"? I'm having some real trouble getting my head around your reasoning.
no, the fucking porn that shows a girl getting gangbanged by 12 dudes is for sick fucks. normal porn, saturated with bad acting, terrible scripts, and one on one sex is perfectly normal.

For as long as humans are humans, they will enjoy seeing other humans naked and doing things to eachother. While you may personally object, no one is forcing you to watch it.
That is a true statement; considering no matter what we, as a species, think that we are no longer driven by primal nature is a lie.

Yes we may go about it in a much more civilized way, but we are still driven by 3 basic things ... technically 2, but 3 things.
1. the basic human idea of survival
2. the basic need to feed our selves, which technically falls under survival
AND
3. The need to reproduce, which is a very primal thing to do in all forms of nature (which includes human beings)

So the idea of porn being a bad thing really isn't, I said meh because no one is forcing you to watch it, but every one (no matter how conservative or religious they may be) still have that basic urge driving them.

so ... yeah

Though I don't have a problem with it morally, I've really only ever watched one, and come to find that watching two random strangers have sex does nothing for me. However, the dialogue was laughably bad, so at least it was somewhat entertaining!

Meh... don't watch it, but I don't care what others watch either. If it's a source of fun or happiness for them, they should watch it!

Pornography is prostitution. It's actually the meaning of the word:

Wikipedia said:
The word derives from the Greek πορνογραφία (pornographia), which derives from the Greek words πόρνη (pornē, "prostitute" and pornea, "prostitution"), and γράφω (graphō, "I write or record," derived meaning "illustration," cf. "graph"), and the suffix -ία (-ia, meaning "state of," "property of," or "place of"), thus meaning "a written description or illustration of prostitutes or prostitution."
So keep that in mind when you're viewing porn.
Seriously, who cares?
Porn is very much a lie, in that it spins sex as being a consequence-free pleasure in which the human being is little more than a worthless shell that houses the main event: their libido. A lot of people buy into that, which leads to tragic results when suddenly the consequences of making indiscriminate whoopee manifest. Sadly, most of the kids on this forum won't have a clue what I'm talking about until I'm too late - suffice to say, it transcends mere pregnancy or STDs.
PORN IS A LIE?! Also, I love when people make arguements that seem to rely on "You'll get what we're saying when you're older"
Every time you're looking at people involved in desperate group sex or weird-ass shit (e.g bakkake), you're not looking at something sexy as much as you are looking at broken shells of former human beings miming desperate ceremonies to try to recapture their pathetic only pleasure in life: the common orgasm. Like some stupid rats hammering a lever in a Skinner's box to light up their pleasure centers, these people have completely deluded themselves into wasting their lives, and you are inadvertently aspiring to be them in seeking to see more of them.
So....If it's normal sex porn is fine, but if it is weird sex or group sex then there's a problem?

Also, I don't see how "something sexy" and "broken shells of former human beings miming desperate ceremonies to try to recapture their pathetic only pleasure in life" are contradictory. But I assume your argument before was about emotional damage?

Well, actually, in most porn, they're not after orgasms. They're after your money. They're faking unachievable orgasms for the camera so desperate dumbasses will drop money on them.
Everyone already knows that. Seriously.

If it's what people want to do (both watching and acting in it), who am I to complain? It's their life, they can do whatever the hell they want.

Think of the economy, man. We can't illegalise porn.
And that is obviously the only reason i would want it to remain legal. I mean why else? I can't think of a single reason.

I usually like hentai better cause it's a bit more realistic and relatable :p Just kidding but I mean most of the time when they give them giant boobs in a hentai they at least have giant nipples and chubby thighs to match haha. Although I did see a few min this one basic porn about a hour ago on tv (O Canada indeed) it was just a couple but the guy was so hot my palms where sweating...DVR that for later >_> A lot of mainstream stuff is pretty boring and fake feeling though so that's a little off for me.

And yes I see the irony, but I think that the hentai artist enjoy there jobs more then the average bleach out silicone pumped sloppy party girl with an orange tan and 2 inch acrylic claws. The artist aren't in it for the money or fame... it's all about love n_n

I am totally down with it. However, it really kills the mood thinking about the moral direction of all these "actors". But hey, if you love it, do it. I can at least respect someone who enjoys going to work everyday.
