Exactly what part of your opinion did you want me to try to disprove, the "I don't care" or the "every single person who did porn wasn't mentally fucked up" point? Because these points are non-points which are unaddressable. In the former case, because a person who doesn't care is the least person who you should listen to about any issue you do care about. In the later case, because when any disaster strikes that harms many, that any one person was spared harm does not diminish the severity of the disaster.

I am curious to know. Different countries have different ages of consent for sex ergo you can be in porno/watch porn at differnt ages. I liv in the uk where the age of consent is 16 but in countries like Germany the age of consent is 14. Ergo if someone who is german comes to the uk it seems inane that If they watch porn involving people younger than 16 it's considered peddophilia. So I want to know what peoples views on what the age of consent thy think should be set for porn as lots of you talk about consenting adults and yet this duffers greately country to country. Btw I think personally 14 is too young and 16 is about right.

This is irrelevant. Why would pornography OR prostitution be wrong? So long as it is done between consenting adults, what's the issue? Is anyone getting hurt? No. Does it affect anyone but the parties involved in it by their own free will? No. So what's it anyone else's business? It's not.

I've always thought porn, at least the mild stuff, brought out the inherent beauty in people. There are people in porn that with their clothes on probably don't get many looks but when they are naked you find that the entirety of their being is quite artistic and beautiful.

Most of the bad vibes towards porn probably stem more from religious nonsense than the actual stuff itself.

NOW Don't get me wrong, there are TERRIBLE TERRIBLE kinds of porn out there that truly do turn people into cattle. But the same can be said about all forms of entertainment and all forms of anything involving humans. There are educational systems that do this sort of thing, faiths, governments, and probably a few food companies SOYLENT GREEN (ok getting off track)...but that doesn't mean that any of them should not exist entirely.

Porn is, at essence, an innocent thing that can provide a new outlook on the human body and help a person release one of the cheapest and effective stimulants they have 24/7 access too.

The only thing that makes porn bad, is the same thing that makes gaming bad, or made literacy bad in the dark ages. Ideological people trying to ruin everyone's day because they are insecure with what will happen to them after they die. I suspect someone will get upset at that point, which will boggle my mind, but someone always does. The defense tends to be for a group of people not targeted by my point at all. I suppose I'm forewarning whoever is planning to do it not to look silly.

I've heard someone point at a cat and say "Doggie!" doesn't mean that cat was a dog.
