Implying that age and experience amount to nothing is an easily established universal wrong in and of itself. Or would you like to say that you just as brilliant as a 7 year old as are you are as a 17 year old? That you have called this obvious thing "completely and utterly wrong" is a true mark of sophomoric beliefs.

Exactly what part of your opinion did you want me to try to disprove, the "I don't care" or the "every single person who did porn wasn't mentally fucked up" point? Because these points are non-points which are unaddressable. In the former case, because a person who doesn't care is the least person who you should listen to about any issue you do care about. In the later case, because when any disaster strikes that harms many, that any one person was spared harm does not diminish the severity of the disaster.

You're probably right. I'm afraid I'm such a burned out forum veteran than I have a lot of rage towards those who disagree with me simply because they can't be bothered to understand what I wrote. (For example, you completely missed the part where I added that yes, I was aware he had it right.) I should really take the opportunity to see if there's a better way to put it.

I am mellowing out, believe it or not. I used to write messages with a hell of a lot more vitriol than that.

I know people(admittadly not pornstars)who have nothing to say unless it's about sex and how much they're getting...I do wonder whether it's because anyone is actually that consumed by their own libedo, or if they're trying to impress me by utilising something that is widely accepted as undeniably cool. It's up to them to conduct themselves however they please, and I won't say it's wrong...but I do find it distasteful, and often find myself trying to steer conversation in just about any other direction.

As for porn, yeh...it's a misrepresentation of itself and of sex, and the realities for the people involved are grim, many were abused, many on drugs, every now and then you hear of an aids scare. I hadn't heard of suicide being all that common...but I could believe it. I mean...where do you go after porn? You can't release a novelty pop record and then move on to being a respected artist, and I imagine it's hard to go from porn to having a career or raising kids...not when all that heinous stuff you have done is just a google search away, the thought of your kids seeing you do that shit...

I'm kinda surprised so many people chose the 2nd option. I think porn is just terrible, dehumanizing to women, and this is my opinion as a mid 20 something guy. I used to watch it when I was a younger, but now I have a serious relationship, planning to get married, and I never want to watch it again.

Think about how pointless your life is by watching porn from a philisophical point of view - You exist to watch other people reproduce and new generations born from us will also continue to watch people reproduce. I guess you could justify calling it an 'industry' in the same way people refer to music or film as an industry. Producers, lighting engineers, camera men, sound operators, actors, directors, set designers etc, there's a lot of people involved in filming sex.

Honestly, though, I don't think about all of the production costs when I watch porn. And I don't mind that people don't like it. It's not going to stop me watching it.
