Christ, you'd think Portal 2 was handcrafted by Jesus Christ, blessed by Bhudda and imbued with the blood of prophets and charity workers; I'm pretty fucking sick of hearing about it.

But I like Stay Alive more.
Probably best if you don't go into all the threads about it then.

And its a great game that's just been released, why would you expect people to shut up about it?

Half the threads are about it, so its kinda hard not to.
You could just, y'know, not click on them.

It was 1 of 3 endings I saw coming, the other ending I thought would happen would you walk out ...into a Combine Squad.

For me, Turret Medley stand out more at first. But Want You Gone was better than Still Alive, if you are able to connect the dots in Portal 2. But entertainment value, Turret Medley for me.

GOD, YES.
I've been hitting replay on that youtube video all day, since I beat it yesterday.
I remember thinking, almost immediately, "Yeah, this lives up to Still Alive."

EDIT:
I have to agree with everyone saying the turret opera. Totally unexpected and really spoke to the emotions of the ending.
At first I was like: Oh, shitbricks, I'm gonna die.
But then I was like: Oh, what? They're singing!
And then I was like: Holy shit, fat opera turret and hueg turret king! This is awesome!

I liked it. It was very good. But Still Alive was better. Of course, the bar was set very high, and by nature, Want You Gone would have to seem ever so slightly derivative. Hell, maybe Want You Gone WAS better, and its just the decreased shock value that lessened the impact. End of the day, both were great.

Also...I hate to say it, but Turrent Medly didn't really do it for me. The ending was great (My god...the lunacy (Ha)...I absolutely lost it). But the actual song...meh. I'm willing to accept that I'm just a weird outlier on this.

I liked the song by The National better, but "Want you Gone" was nice too.
It was great finding that little nook with the radio playing this song.

I hope it brings the band some more attention. Their album Boxer is fantastic, with some outstanding drum work.

I like it a lot, but it doesn't feel like Portal. It's too generic, Portal is supposed to be unique. I feel like I've heard it before. I love JoCo, and the song, but it's not Portal.

It's nice, but it's no Still Alive.

The melody's not as memorable, and didn't have the same kind of charm that the first one had, though that's kinda fitting with the entire theme of the game.

I thought it was a good song. Not as catchy as Still Alive but that's definitely a tough act to follow. Taken alone it's still a nice little song.
