Well as disbelief is the rejection of belief and denial is a statement in opposition of another.

But it's not disbelief. It's a belief that God doesn't exist (see your link). Therefore it's not a rejection of belief, it's the embrace of another. Which just happens to be the denial of something's existance.

Atheism isnt a belief its a lack of belief. If all other things believe then the thing that doesnt is a lack of belief.

I am glad at least a few people understand what I wrote.

You could put about anything in for "cake", and it will make no more sense or no less sense.
These are my thoughts:
Religious people can't prove their religion.
Atheists can't prove Atheism.
Now, let's just respect other people's opinions and go about our merry lives, without trying to convince people you are right and they are wrong. okay?

1) The world is founded on religion and its absurdities. No atheist can avoid religious law.
2) Religion causes hatred and murder to this day. Why should an atheist respect that?

But you didn't answer his question. Why should we respect the Crusades, 911, or many of the other religious wars and deaths, caused by religion. Thats the question he is asking, there is no debate over it. Just a question.

I merely stated that we should all mind our own business, AND EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE!
If people stopped trying to force their views (either theist or otherwise), we wouldn't have all these wars being fought over religion.
And by applying your own standards to science as you apply them to religion, then science is even worse, without science and technology, we wouldn't be able to kill millions of people in less than an instant with atomic bombs.

While I applaud the effort, all it really shows is that people with power use motivators to control people's actions.

They don't believe in God because they don't know. An atheist BELIEVES that there is NO God/s. Atheism is a belief. Agnosticism is the lack of belief.

I guess my post was a bit harsher than it should have been, i can see the point that is trying to be made... but its still flawed, depending on who the quote is directed at of course. The way that it was rephrased into "we are all atheists..." just doesn't make sense.
