Poll: Possible WoW Classes I want to try.

For all the experienced WoW players or for those who have simply played the race/class combinations: Which of the following do you believe I should pick from?

I've heard GREAT things about the BE Rogue, the Troll Mage, and the Troll Warriors. The Troll Mage would be due to having Berserk + Icy Veins = 50% cast time cut in half. Throw your two cents in here.

In my time I played warlock but soon quit, I enjoyed all the instacast DOT spells but then I got tired of spamming 53211 till they died. Curse spell, corruption, imolate, shadowbolt then a tap life/drainlife/drain soul thing. Plus I didn't want to sink weeks into the game just to farm equipment and hit the level cap.

Racials make very little difference to you in the long run. Though, some are more useful than others, Will of the Forsaken, Thunderstomp and Arcane Torrent to name a few.

So, wouldn't advise choosing a class/race based on that. I don't know, just play around a bit with each of the combinations till you find one you can stick with all the way through. After all, no point making a Troll Warrior and getting to level 40 only to find you don't like it any more.

I've got a Belf Mage of my own and i think it works pretty well, especially with Belfs being such a magic orientated race.

Belfs definitly have the racials for a mage, but I'm a Belf rogue. You don't get mana tap, but you still get Arcane Torrent, which instead of restoring mana, restores energy AND silences.

And you get enchanting racials

I'd go for the rogue, but don't fall into the trap of speccing subtlety for leveling, spec Combat and then switch to Subtlety when you have enough points to get shadowstep. I find either subtlety or combat best for PvP.

Assassination is fail.

Just play EVE instead. There's no classes. If you don't like a choice you made, just work around it. It isn't like WoW, you can't be completely useless because you chose the wrong class.

I would say do not base your character on racials, but on looks. That said trolls are generally considered to have bad racials, though im not completely sure why.

IMO you should go for a troll warrior, though I dont know enough about you to say that is best, but (I think) Trolls are the least played race in the game, which goes some way towards amking them awesome, and warriors are more competative in PVE, as you can choose to tank an instance instead of competing with the 15 other DPS also wanting the 3 DPS slots.

Play whatever race you can stand hearing, cause youll be hearing "I can't do that" or "That spell isn't ready yet" etc...for a long long time and you might as well choose whatever voice doesn't drive you insane. I play a tauren shammy and I have to turn the sound off because I hate the voice.

Belfs fail, as an ex-alliance player I can tell you we usually go for those first ^^

Trolls n the other hand as über sweet as cloth classes (they look crap in mail/plate), so go troll mage mon! Da' be a blast!
