Forever Red got my vote. I'm glad Leo decided to come back in the end, even if he had to be digitally inserted into the episode.

Nice avatar, Kamen Rider Gaim is definitely up there in terms of quality. I remember watching the first episode a long time ago and thinking, "eh, nah". But then I tried it again some time later and I'm glad I did.

Can't wait for Kamen Rider Taisen. Really looking forward to Decade's return. Again.

I'll just put it out there that Power Rangers actually improved since MMPR, no matter how big people's nostalgiaboners get.
Yeah, I never really got why people get hard-ons for Mighty Morphin. It's one thing to like it a lot (nothing wrong with that at all), but then they go and say it's better than the other seasons? I mean, what? I personally can't stand to watch it again.

On a side-note, it'd be nice if, during interviews with Saban Brands-era Power Ranger actors, they answered "who's your favourite past Ranger?" questions with Rangers other than those from Mighty Morphin for once. Are Mighty Morphin the only seasons they really know?

Also, I agree with your list on which seasons suck and which seasons kick ass. Especially agree with your standing on RPM and Time Force. I'll be really impressed if Saban Brands can pull something out of their backside and manage to produce something that somehow approaches those two in quality.

Power rangers over every cartoon / show for me. My mum recently told me I used to go to bed in red wellington boots with my power sword. I wish I could get away with that now.

MMPR has aged like milk seriously. Half the people who say 'MMPR was the only good one' need to go back and rewatch it. Sure the theme song is great and the Megazord kicks ass, but pretty much everything it did... other seasons did better.

And Super Megaforce is pretty awesome so far. It's way better than god awful Samurai. And I know the theme song is just a rehash of MMPR, but I really like the theme. It flows betteer than the Samursi version.

I really like Megaforce though. Jake is probably in my top 10 all time favorite Rangers.
I had so much fun with Megaforce. I'm really hoping when they get to the Legendary Ranger stuff in Super Mewgaforce they don't screw it up.

I'm forced to agree with you on MMPR... to a degree. I tried to watch it myself not to long ago and found myself completely unable to watch alot of it. It really feels like the creators had no idea how to make a PR series... because they HADN'T figured out how to make a good PR series at that point.

However, recently, I took my 5-year old niece and watched some MMPR with her. She'd never seen Power Rangers before, and she was enchanted by it... and I couldn't help but be drawn in myself at the same time. I think you REALLY need to have the innocence of a child on your side when you watch the original series. Just forget about all the future series and about Sentai, and get back into that single-digit-age state of mind. It helps to have someone OF that age while watching it.

My girlfriend (absolutely OBSESSED with power rangers and watched it religiously) demands to know why Mystic Force is so low-regarded >_>

I gotta go with Day of the Doctor just because it wasn't a toy commercial. Sorry :p
