Poll: Preorders. Do you make them?

So I just preordered Space Marine on steam (89.99USD with a free copy of Darksiders). I'm wondering, do you guys preorder games or wait till they're released?

I do. I love getting free goodies from gamestop.

i only preorder games that look like they will be in my top 5 games for that year. so things lie AC, Fallout, Witcher. games that even if they are bad are still going to be better than most other games.

I pre-order, but only on Steam since there's usually a discount and sometimes with other nifty bonus features.

On the form of the games I've got in my flat at the moment, I wait 'til at least three years after it's released.

Quite limited selections, but among 'affirmative' and 'negative' I would be in the former category.

I have pre-ordered one game, first game ever I have pre-ordered, Mass Effect 3. So I am technically in the affirmative, but I normally don't pre-order games.

If there's a bonus yes. More usually however, I like getting my games at release date regardless of the over-price.

Now days a brand new game will go from 60$ to less than $40 in less than a month from places like amazon. So I just wait out the two-four weeks and get the game for $20+ less.

The other benefit of this tactic is that after a few weeks; you can get a better feel for how people really feel about a game after the hype wears off.
