I hate when people do that. I may have long hair, but I have a fucking beard! Girls are not generally flat chested with beards >.<

Nope, it's 69, was 58, after The Secret Armory of General Knoxx it was 61 and it was risen to 69 with an update and balance patch after that.neonsword13-ops said:Didn't Gearbox raise the level cap to 71? That's what having a father with a doctors deegree in psychology can teach you.
I tricked a guy in Borderlands by message saying that I was a 16 year old girl willing to go out with him for the most powerfull weapon he had. I left right after he did. I felt REALLY bad... and I found out I couldn't use it unless I was level 71....
So that was my past experince with a female character.
NTs?OtherSideofSky said:No. I have Aspergers Syndrome (clinically diagnosed, and god do I hate the idiots who make it necessary to say that) and that kind of deception doesn't come naturally to me as a result. I've heard that NTs do this, though. They tend, in my experience, to be very deceptive and untrustworthy, so this doesn't surprise me. If they weren't the kind of losers who would do shit like this, they wouldn't build societies where it works.
I have played female characters in games with exclusive equipment (I'm very partial to the binded set in Demon's Souls, what with its high fire resistance and low weight) or games like Mass Effect where it's a different way to experience the story, but I have never and would never misrepresent my IRL gender to others.
Please don't. Those of us guys who don't turn into a slobbering creep when we find out that a fellow gamer is female would much rather see women (and men for that matter) in games who act like normal, intelligent human beings rather than try to use their sexuality to get whatever they want. Girls who do that are creepy and a little bit sad themselves, just like the guys who fall for it.Loner Jo Jo said:I am a girl, but I've never used the fact I am a girl to get a guy to do something for me online. Hell, even IRL, I only ever do it as a joke. But seeing how many guys do it to other guys and seeing how well it works for my female friends in real life, I may have to start relying on my feminine wiles more.
I've played a female quite often, and it's true. You do get a lot of stuff for free, you do get a lot of leeway on how you play the character and you do get hit on.Phasmal said:So I have a question for you, what do you guys think, and have you ever pretended to be female to get things?
If yes, did it work?
If no, would you, given the oppurtunity?
