You heard right, your main character from Skyrim is locked in a life or death struggle with your character from Dark Souls. Before we begin, here are some rules:

1. Bias has no place here, the battle will be decided by each character's gear and skills, not because one is more popular than the other.
2. Your Dark Souls character gets a third slot in each hand for a situational weapon, like a bow or catalyst.
3. Your Skyrim character is limited to the first word of a shout, no Call Dragon or Storm Call.
4. Your Skyrim character cannot use powers. In the same vein he or she cannot pause the world to down health potions.

After a certain amount of days I will make a dramatization of a fight using my characters. Make sure you go over your two characters' capabilities to justify your choice. Now here I go:

My main Skyrim character has 100 in two-handed and one-handed weapons so with the recent Dawnguard DLC he will likely use a dragonbone greatsword in combat. His armor is Daedric set.

Meanwhile my Dark Souls character has stats that look like this:

Vitality: 33
Attunement: 15
Endurance: 46
Strength: 54
Dexterity: 24
Resistance: 14
Intelligence: 28
Faith: 30

This means that he is mainly melee focused but can also cast a fair amount of miracles, a favorite being Great Lightning Spear. He also has a number of pyromancies like Fire Storm and Great Fireball. My Dark Souls character's gear is:

Armor: Black Knight set
Right Hand: Black Knight Greatsword, Pyromancy Flame; backup: Black Knight Greataxe
Left Hand: Black Knight Shield, Sunlight Talisman; backup: Dragonslayer Greatbow

Now let the battle commence. Don't be afraid to write your own dramatization using your characters after voting ends. Personally I think that my Dark Souls character would win thanks to being more magically skilled than my Skyrim character.

Edit: Specifics people!

Edit: Edit: I handicapped Dovakiin because for the fight the Dark Souls main only has one shot in this fight. I probably should have cleared that up from the start.

Edit: Edit: Edit: Okay people I have dropped this and moved on. Keep posting if you wish but keep in mind I now ignore it so anyone who wanted the dramatization is shit out of luck. If you want something better for discussion value go to my Skyrim/Dark Souls crossover thread. Lastly, yes this was poorly thought out to begin with I realize that now my bad.

The Dark Souls character for two reasons. Dark Souls is all about using analysis and quick movements to dodge your enemy's attacks and finding openings in your opponent's defense while in Skyrim you just run up and start hacking. Also, the Dark Souls character can't die, (s)he'll just keep coming back and chipping away at the Dragonborn until the fight is over.

Dark Souls character can dodge. That pretty much guarantees him victory right there.

You're playing Skyrim wrong if you just run up and start spamming the melee button.

Really? Because I really can't think of any other ways to right in Skyrim besides backpedaling and alternating between backpedaling and charging.

The Dovahkiin will win, why?

Using dragon shouts allows him to summon fire, cold, etc as well as move at super speeds, make enemies weaker, rip their souls from their bodies, and CONTROL TIME ITSELF.

Beyond that you also have the shouts that allow you to summon dragons and the FUCKING SPIRITS OF THE DEAD.

Yeah...due to being OP as crap and the only thing the Dark Souls guy has going for him is the dodge mechanic I'm going with Dragonborn here.

The Dark Souls character would obviously win. You go through the entire game killing these giant creatures that can all kill you in a single shot.
Yes but most of that is trial and error of dying, I'm assuming this is a one-shot match where they go in once and that's it.

The Dark Souls guy would probably win after dying 5-6 times and analyzing the Dovahkiins weaknesses. That is how Dark Souls works right?

Yeah, being able to die more than once is a huge edge for the Dark Souls guy. In the long run Dovahkiin doesn't stand a chance against something that he can't actually kill.

Pretty much, Dovakin is OP to the tits but Dark Souls Main is a lot more tactful, they have the same amount of skill range wise but Dark Souls guy can dodge. In melee combat, Dovakin would get his ass handed to him in one attack cause of Dark Souls main's counter. Then it is just a mess to figure out how Dovakin's shouts and Dark Souls summoning/faction powers come into to play.

I'll go with Dark Souls. Average health and damage is higher in that game than it is in Skyrim.

Dovahkin could probably just use unrelenting force and proceed to turn Dark Suls into a red spot on the floor. He can also replenish his health with Healing.

What if Dovahkin is a mage? Mages are really powerful when they're upgraded, so Dark Souls may not even get close.

My skyrim character would win.

She hits like a truck with arrows from stealth. Most enemies never even touch her or see her coming. My Dark Souls character wears cloth...

I think she would be screwed despite being like lvl 90

Skyrim doesn't have stamina, so Dovahkiin can just keep swinging until Mr. Dark Souls can't block or dodge anymore and go to town.

Skyrim wins.

Mage wise it all depends on spells, I don't think destruction will be of much use as most of the spells move quite slowly and DSmain will dodge it. Dark Souls Main is able to summon other people to help fight and is even able to attack people from other planes. I think Dovakin would win a round(s) but if DSmain keeps coming back, Dovakin will fuck up sooner or later and it will be game over.

I haven't played Skyrim, but I'm not sure any humanoid in the known universe can take a two-handed hit from Havel's weapon Dragon Tooth. That thing stings like the fossilized tooth of an everlasting dragon should. For that reason, I say Dark Souls.

An immortal vs. a crippled Dovahkiin. If you had to handicap him so much, it really isn't all that fair.
