Poll: Protest DLC?

I didn't have to pay for any of the day one DLC for that(or at least I don't think I had to, same with ME2, as long as you got it new)

just to let you in on it, bioware(i guess its EA technically?) does the Day 1 dlc to try and get gamers to have some incentive on buying games new rather than used, (they did this with mass effect 2 also) you get it for free with the game instead of buying the game used and possibly having to pay for it if you really wanted it.

If I remember correctly, the DLC only came with the collector's edition for Dragon Age (idk about ME2, as I never got it), which still very much falls under the "We're going to take this chunk of the game out and charge you extra for it just for shits and giggles" category.

its just the way the world is starting to go to try and get you to get the game new and as early as possible.

Depends on the DLC. Some is ok (Fallout 3 is actually a decent example. So is SOME of the DLC for Oblivion. And LittleBigPlanet has good DLC. Force Unleashed DLC I plan to buy, but it's more expensive than I think it should be)

Other DLC is stupid. Examples being "We actually put this on the game disc, but you need to pay us more money to unlock it" (Soulcalibur 4, I'm looking at you here), and "Pay money to unlock stuff instead of playing the game" - although that just annoys me because buying them is stupid. I shouldn't mind as long as stupid people continue to exist and help fund the companies enabling my gaming habit, I guess...

i didn't buy the collectors edition? i never buy any collectors anything.

anyways id rather have day 1 dlc with stuff new rather then the bullshit project 10 or having to pay money for online when i buy a used game, now THAT is the true bullshit.
