My nerd readings are over 9000.
Over 9000????????????

Well, someone had to do it.

I'm quite comfortable with who I am, which is someone who is undeniably nerdy. Or geeky, whichever terminology you prefer. Some folks think that's neat, others think I'm a complete loser. *shrug*

Nerd (or geek, whatever) and proud! Disscussing Star Wars, Video Games and D&D at length on the School Bus! Posting on forums! Possessing tons of Star Wars Merchandise, Wargames Figures, Video games and LEGO! Still not having a clue about my computer! I think I feel a campaign coming on...

NERD PRIDE.

Now we need a flag. Or a colour. Or both.

Or a campaign... Norris/Vader 012.

Or to be hated by most of the world. Oh wait, scrathch one. I hate geekophobes. Bah.

Would have loved to remain a closet-nerd, but at some point the closet was overwhelmed; unable to contain the sheer amount of accumulated raw nerdiness^^

I am most definately a nerd and proud of my nerdiness... But I don't define myself by the video games I play, I'm just me and by my personality and sense of dress... People wouldnt pick me as a nerd.

I rarely discuss video games or advertise that I am a nerd but this doesn't mean I hide it, as said before I don't let my choice of hobby define my character and I will proudly announce my long history of gaming if the topic comes up in regular discussion.

That said though I do have En Taro Adun and En Taro Tassadar tattooed on both my hands...
that's basically me, but living in a small town, most people here know of my nerdiness anyway. and i'm yet to get quotes tattoed onto myself (soon, though, very soon.......)

Lets see, obsessed with Star Wars, Doctor Who, and Warhammer, constantly play videogames, like role-playing games, hate drugs, smoking, alchohol etc. Button top button on polo shirts, ummmmmm, I think I might be a bit of a nerd.

I tend to see geek as more socially inept and dorky, and nerdy seems to be more fan-ish and interest based.
That being said, I'm nerdy :D I know tons of random crap about universally nerdy things (mumorpgurs, starwars, memes) and I like school. That's right. I like learning.

Are the internets still up for grabs? Because I think you win them.

I am a nerd and proud of it. However, I spike my hair, I wear decent clothing, and I can hold my own in most social situations. I think that is the way forward for nerds: To gain social aptitude in order to be become the next generation of society.
i heatly agree

Am I proud of being a nerd? No, not really. Am I proud of being an intelligent person capable of his own rational thought and critical analysis of the world around him? A person who recognises that he is an individual with full control over himself? A person with interests and hobbies that are fulfilling, viewing them as ends in themselves rather than the means most others mistake them for? Yes, yes I am.
