Its definitely something to look into; I mean, weren't there government psi-spies, or something during the cold war?
Erana, you're confusing real life with metal gear again.

No psychics are scammers, they use you for your money. Remember that. They are master scammers, just like the guy in the alleyway that walks up to you with a deck of cards and says 'wanna double your money?'

Yeah, but who doesn't do this on a regular basis?

Oh shit, i thought it said, " do you believe in physics?" so I selected yes, damnit x.x
That one made me giggle ^^ I wonder if someone doesn't believe in physics though. But on the serious side of the armadillo. Nah, I believe they are just scammers or misinformed/misguided people.

I belive that psychics exist. I belive in ghosts, aliens, and magic too. But I belive that I have not seen any of it yet. Uri Geller and others like him are nothing but liars. But that does not mean that there is no truth to be found at all.

Careful with that buddy, Uri Geller is known for using his incredible psychic power (or...well, his hands) to get lawsuit pissy against people calling him a liar. He could try to make your head explode right now ^^.

That said, random fun wikipedia stuff about Uri Geller:

- In another notable instance, in 1992, Geller was asked to investigate the kidnapping of Hungarian model Helga Farkas, and, after he predicted she would be found alive and in good health, she was found to have been murdered by her kidnappers.

- He considered a suit against IKEA over a furniture line featuring bent legs that was called the "Uri" line.

- In a later interview, Geller told Telepolis, "I said to this German magazine, so what I did say, that I changed my character, to the best of my recollection, and I no longer say that I do supernatural things. It doesn't mean that I don't have powers. It means that I don't say 'it's supernatural', I say 'I'm a mystifier!' That's what I said. And the sceptics turned it around and said, 'Uri Geller said he's a magician!' I never said that."

...wich should prove even too believers that Uri Geller is still pretty much an idiot

Don't really believe in phychics, but that isn't to say the ability to be "phychic" is non existant. I'm not claiming to be phychic, but i have to admit, there's been a few odd occasions where I felt a bit of deja-vu in a place I had never been. It's hardly proof and i'm not saying it is, but i'm still open to the idea that there may be a slight "phychic" ability.

Dammit, no, Erana's completely right. That's not friggin' Metal Gear! Yes, during the Cold War (and for many years afterward) the government had many agents who were supposedly psychic. They also dabbled in projects to unlock the secrets of psychics. I don't think it worked, but they haven't spoken on it since then, so who knows? Maybe there is an Alma somewhere! (Yeah, that's likely)

Then again, this is the same CIA that had its agents secretly poisoning each other with LSD as a part of training, among other things. Hardly any conclusive evidence about real psychics there.

I hate psychics.

They're stupid, cold, heartless people who prey on the emotions of people who have recently gone through something devistating to them.

Oh, yeah, your mother was a beautiful woman and now she's at peace...now where's my pay check?

Just look at this:

I hate her...

Its possible there's some form of latent human sense that gives us some form of collective connection, such as how many people claim a kind of luck or sixth sense about things, and I'm sure many of you have had experiences when you've know you were being watched or had a feeling about something or someone thats been proven right, its likely this is an unconscious sense like the detection of pheromones or something similar though rather then actual psychic abilities.

But mind reading, contacting the dead and precognition ect. is a load of bollocks in my opinion as I've seen no proof of it.
