If I could speak Japanese or have a translator I would meet Shoji Meguro, the composer for Shin Megami Tensei games.

Strangely, I picked male as well, so I suppose the OP is correct in its assumption. I wouldn't like to spend the whole day with them, but I'd love to interview either Jon Stewart, Trey Parker, David Gilmour, or Roger Waters.

Just because of all the stuff I could learn from them.

Most of the female celebrities are either hot idiots, or unappreciated in their field, thus are never advertised, thus are not really celebrities.

Male. if you were wondering.

Well... my favorite male celebrity is Phil Collins, and my favorite female celebrity is Jamie Lee Curtis. So, spend time chatting with a partially-deaf musician whose recent works weren't really to my taste, or spend time chatting with an actress who's still damn hot for being 51?

*ticks "female"*

I would meet obama, drug him, and make him give me money/protection.
I don't know if that is the best plan...

Meeting Thom Yorke is a dream. That means male.
This would have been mine, except that I already did. Well, if you count passing him in the street, with him seeing your Radiohead T-shirt and then giving you a look that says "Don't talk to me." That counts, right?

I'd meet Brad Pitt, sit around playing Special Ops, and talk about manly stuff like Fight Club, Angelina's cup size, and what the hell is up with all those babies.

Of course, I'd also love to meet Angelina Jolie. She's pretty smart, and I hear she can be one of the guys. So basically, the two are interchangeable.

I'm going to abuse the loophole in your question - I'd have gone for 'male' if you had used another word for celebrity, as my three favourite artists are all male. Now I went with female since the three males aren't actual 'celebrities'.

On the contrary, I've found that most guys would like nothing more than to get in bed with their favorite female celebrity. Something about idiotic slavery to their hormones or something.

I'd love to just spend the day with George Lucas. I don't care how bad the recent movies were, the original Star Wars movies are the best films that will ever be made, and though I did once shake Lucas' hand, actually conversing with him and just hanging out would be... just... yeah...

Too much fun to be had with Clarkson. Way too much fun/
Boom, ninja'd right away. He'd probably have access to an Aston Martin DBS, which is my dreamcar. Also, discussing just about anything with him over a pint of bitter would be just about the most relaxing thing ever.

I would rather meet my favorite male cebrities.

This is because most of my favourite female celebrities are only my favourite because they are hot, and meeting them with a massive stiffee would be embarrasing.
i second this.

Eh, I would not mind talking with Serj Tankien
thats not a person..
Yes he is, he was the singer for System of a Down and is currently a solo artist, hence the album being released by Serj Tankian.

Imma say male, and go with the running theme of Jeremy Clarkson, just because he's absolute class.

It's a toss up between Samuel L. Jackson and Ellen Page then...

It's gonna have to be Samuel "Muthafuckin'" L. Jackson every time, really.

I would have to say male, but then again my view of celebrity is different to a lot of other people.
