I was playing Unreal Tournament at school with one of my buddies (our friend got it to run on the computers, and it was in one of our frees), and he would exploit a glitch which made him literally invisible to me, even though he had half his torso peeking out above his sniper perch. This allowed him to kill me over and over without me being able to see him. The only way for me to kill him without luck and guesswork was to run over the entire massive open field, climb up his tower and kill him conventionally, even though he was more skilled than me anyway.

After a while of him not listening to me when I tried to explain it was a glitch, I punched my keyboard, snapped a few keys and then I pushed his keyboard and mouse off the desk. Then I moved computers, and I never got caught.

Don't judge me, we payed huge school fees for a crappy education. I'd earnt a broken keyboard.

Nope. I don't think I've ever been angry at a game, online or off, at least not since I was 10. Fallout 2 was a cruel mistress back then. However, I'm practically a monk online and off now.
ooooof course you are, for me I do get "raged" a bit but I don't like yell at people, I do get angry though but I try not to let people know

I've never done anything stupid when irritated with a game.

At most, when I get p*ssed-off PVPing online, I get up and stomp around my house for a while, maybe go out to the barn and hit the heavy bag, but that's only in extreme cases. Console games have NEVER made me do more than cuss and stop playing for a few hours & maybe pace around a bit.

Beyond that, I've never really let a game get me so worked up that I feel the need to "HULK SMASH!".

It's very rare that I get angry while playing a game. I play games to relax and enjoy myself so, if I find myself getting angry, I generally just go and do something else.

I have heard I can make other people angry though by quitting when I am loosing. I don't quit because I am loosing, but because it is no longer fun.

As a child, I used to be prone to extreme bursts of anger while gaming. It scared the shit out of my parents.

As an adult, I've got it pretty much under control, although I have a few exceptions:

- Mirror's Edge frustrates me in ways that words cannot describe. Unfortunately, I refused to let that game beat me. I eventually made Hard mode my *****
- The first God of War. I played the second one before I played this one. I beat the second one on Titan. On the first one, I could barely get out of Normal. Fucking Cerberus puppies.
- Recently, Saint's Row 2 has been having that effect on me, but mostly because my shitty gfx card renders this game nearly unplayable, yet it's too damn fun to drop.
- Playing any game with my "friend" Vinny. He's not only one of the biggest shit-talkers in gaming, but he get's way too personal with it, and he has no clue when to stop.

Years ago, I rented this game at a local Blockbuster because I read a ton of reviews and it got so many high scores.

Long story short, I put a hole in my TV.

Fuck this game.

Sometimes, though I've calmed down a lot from my childhood. One good scream and it's okay.

When I was 8 and playing SSX, oh, you didn't want to get near me then. The PS2 controller we had back then, was usable, but extremly damaged. When I got angry (Usually when I lost), I started squeezing the controller really hard, and try to bend it so it broke.

Well, eventually it did, kind of. The PS2 controller had two parts of the "shell" so to say. Well, one match I lost and got angry and squized'n' bended controller until these two parts broke loose. They weren't completely seperated from the controller, but enough that, whenever you used it, it would always get loose, and made it extremly hard to hold it, since it was more or less, breaking appart.

I rage at Armored Core games. I love to play them because I'm a mech/robot fan but I just plain suck at them :( .

Playing Call of Duty has shown me just how bad can rage and ***** about something over the internet. Be it the rage quitters, the control destroyers, or the people who complain about the bullshit of the game.

I cant say I've never been mad or frustrated with a game but to take it to the level of Call of Duty or to the point where you throw your controller seems a little much. Sixty dollars for a few moments of stress relief is a crappy trade off.
I c wut u did thar with that poll option and all. Unfortunately it's Calm Like A Bomb.

OT: I very rarely RAAAAAAAAAGE whilst gaming, I'm often frustrated though.

Closest Ive ever come to breaking a controller was cracking the housing on one of those generic ps2 controllers by squeezing it.

The worst I ever did was childishly grind my controller against the carpet while trying to beat "Contingency" on Mew Two veteran. Actually sanded a bit of the plastic down, and partially ruined a cheap carpet. Well, at least I'll always know which controller is mine.

I've gone on killing sprees when I can't find the "right" way to win a level. I've quit games, and come back to them later after a frustrating mission (a few times in Fire Emblem, I walked away, came back, and finished it handily).

But, never anything big and rage-like. If I'm not enjoying myself, I finish what I'm doing, and go do something else. Easy as pie.
