I just watched this movie again recently and in my opinion it is a classic movie, but I have met people who surprizingly did not think much of it. In responce to this I thought I would set up a poll to see what you all think. By the way, if you haven't seen it yet, you owe it to yourself to at least try it.

I prefer The Last Crusade because Connery is in it, Raiders would be my next favourite but I don't like the other two all that much. Then again, I don't think anyone likes Kindgom of the Crystal Skull.

Ah yes, the movie where Montana Jim, the celebrated mathematician goes in search of the lost arc, a powerful object that the ancient Hebrews used to measure the walls of Solomon's Temple, such a classic...

I kid, I know you meant Raiders of the lost Ark, but you have to admit, it was a funny typo. As for my vote, of course it's a classic.

I liked Crystal Skull quite a bit. The bad Indy film is Temple of Doom. The people who complained about Crystal Skull were mostly upset that he was chasing aliens, and apparently never understood that Indiana Jones was always about the quest, never about the object -- it's why The Last Crusade was such a fitting end to the series.

You know Ark has a 'k' right? And yes, Indy is fantastic, and I loved The Tast Crusade with Connery, didn't care much for Temple of doom though. If anyone so much as thinks the words 'Crystal Skull' they can stop it right now thank you very much.

Yeah I prefer Last Crusade as well, though I think I saw it first too, way back in the day. Still much prefer Raiders over Temple and Skull, though. You just can't top the Nazis as vilains.

One thing I could never understand was if Indy took a whole team to a temple to get that idol, why on earth did he have a plane ready with only one free seat? Was he expecting to be betrayed by everyone? Or worse- was he planning on murdering them all himself?

Yes, that IS bloody hilarious and now I demand somebody make this spoof idea into a movie.

It's definitely my favorite movie of the Trilogy. I mean personally they're all outstanding and great, but gun-to-my-head pick an order it goes: Raiders, Crusade, Temple. Crusades was great with Connery but it felt a little too much like Raiders, and Temple was just eh. Still better than a lot of movies though

Just a little error, and what's this "Crystal Skull" you speak of?

I may be the oddball but Temple of Doom is my favorite movie in the series, then after that it's Raiders. And yes Raiders is a classic.

See that's the reason I didn't like it as much as would've liked.

I reckon RotLA is the best of the lot for having the best action set-pieces, the best female sidekick (how's for having a drink with Marion, eh? yeah, I'd be ashamed she can drink me under the table...) and some of the best comedy relief moments.

Don't say that, or there will be a special edition where he shoots them all first.

I can certainly see why someone might not like it, but I love it. I love all three Indiana Jones movies, and I think it is my top favorite of them.

You know what happens to people who don't like Raiders?

In all seriousness it is the first and I think the best. Last Crusade is up there with it, but this is what introduced me to Indy.

Crystal skull was seriously underrated, sure some of the things were a bit unrealistic (fridge) but it is a nice adventure film.

I can understand someone not liking it as much as I do, but I have to go with the opinion that its probably the most perfect action-adventure movie/story you could ask for.
