I'll be the first to say it - best parent ever. Been raised by my mom my whole life, and she did an amazing job. There's really nothing else to say - she's just that damn good.
Well my mum and my dad have had to put up with me and my sister for so many years so that alone makes them deserve a right pat on the back. But honestly mum's always had that time for me (You know, kids picked on you at school, so much work to do, the dog just ate your treasured childhood teddy bear and puked it all over your bed) and my dad's always been a great mate. They never spoiled me but did not neglect me, they never threw me into a snake pit for punishment but they never let me get soft on justice, they never raised me up as the centre of the universe but never showed me the same courtesies and attention they might show to a displeased termite and they've raised me on good old fashioned morality and high-tech new age acceptance.
I love them so much.

I think they did quite well, despite hassels brought on them by other family members and me having many problems with other kids in school.
My parents did a great job raising me. They brought me up to make smart decisions. I say this as I'm about to sneak out of the house.
My parents are A++. They're supportive of everything I've tried, they got me into good eating habits so I'm not picky with my food and also super-healthy. If I'm ever in trouble with money for car rego or soccer payments, they help out, they are awesome friends with my girlfriend and get along great. Best parents I've ever known.

But they did not now how to handle me or talk to me. They could and should have done better, but it also could have been much, much worse.
Let's just say that they took care of my physical needs but not really raised me mentally.

My parents, specially my mom, did a great job with me. I have to thank them a lot for what i am today which I enjoy, and despite we no longer live together they still are very supportive and I love them a lot.
well not so great. my mother went a bit insane when her mother, my gandmother died. so she tought it was a good idéa to do shitloades of drugs and went to a insane asylum. so my father had to take care of me and my sister but instead of taking care of us he started a company and had to work 24-7.
While I voted "great job", that vote goes out to my Mum, she's so awesome. Intelligent, open-minder, and the most resilient person I know. Anyone else who's dealing with the stuff she's dealing with would have collapsed and given up by now.
My Dad on the other hand, while he's well-meaning and everything, is a narrow-minded, ignorant fool. He's incredibly stingy with money and provides no support money-wise whatsoever, even if it's to help his own children, even if this money is going towards their very health and well-being. Yeah, I feel strongly on the topic. Don't like my Dad.
And in case it hasn't been inferred enough, my parents are divorced.
